A truly fantastic experience! 🌙 The night hike was exciting and full of fascinating stories about historical events and the mythical underworld. Arina was a great guide, explained everything perfectly, was extremely knowledgeable, and connected wonderfully with the group. Highly recommended and a truly special experience! ✨

Reviews: Chania: Sightseeing & Tastings Tour

George was an incredible guide for our Chania sightseeing and food tasting tour! He is extremely knowledgeable, bringing the city's rich history to life while showing us hidden alleys we would have never found on our own. The food stops were phenomenal, featuring authentic Cretan flavors away from the usual tourist traps. What really made the day special was George's warmth—he talked to us and shared stories like we had been friends for years. Highly recommend!

Aliki was an excellent guide. She shared how life ve of the culture and history of her country with enthusiasm! She took us to several restaurants and one market. We started with bougatsa, a cheese and phyllo dough creation which was delicious. After we ate it, she took us around the corner to a storefront where we watched locals make it! We also tasted kalitsounia, sampled olives and cheeses at the local market and finished in the town square with a selection of 5 different dishes which were all excellent! Aliki was also patient and understanding with one member of our party who had a recent knee replacement and was a bit slower than Aliki was used to walking! Definitely a recommended tour!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Goldie! She was engaging, knowledgeable, informative—a great teacher of Crete’s history! At every stop the locals knew Goldie and we could feel the love and respect they had for her. We began at pastry/coffee shop, visited a locally owned market, participated in a tasting of artisan accoutrements, devoured frozen yogurt, shopped along our walk, ate more at a secret alleyway cafe, toured the harbor and ended with the most delicious gyros! We lamented that baklava wasn’t typically offered as a dessert item at many of the restaurants during our stay in Greece, so Goldie found the most incredible bakery on our way back and bought us baklava! Our recommendation: bypass breakfast before this tour! Goldie is a gem!

Reviews: Chania: Coffee, Cretan Pastries and Stories of Mythology

Eva kindly guides us around local coffee shops, pastry shops and historical sites. There were four of us in the group and poor Eva was bombarded with questions which she took in her stride with enormous patience backed up with her vast knowledge (she’s just completed her Masters in history and archaeology) She also took us around a few pastry and coffee shops to sample the traditional Cretan fare (hearty!). I’d hugely recommend this tour. Eva is so lovely and really gave a fabulous insight to Chania’s past.
