Reviews: Kauai Day Tour: Kalalau, Waimea, Poipu, Cruise or Airport Pickup

Steve was an excellent driver. He was very knowledgeable about the island and was a great person to spend the day with. He was laid back and it felt more like being out with a friend rather than a formal tour guide. The itinerary was good with plenty of time to enjoy each stop. We never felt pressured to move on. He inserted a few extra stops to introduce us to the pleasures of “Shave Ice” and tropical fruits. I was disappointed not to see all of the canyon but this was not anybody’s fault - it was due to the hurricane that had hit the island in September. The upper road was closed due to repairs being carried out. Overall, an excellent trip which I would throughly recommend.
