Reviews: Queensferry: Sightseeing Cruise to Inchcolm Island
Guest User2026-10-20
Taking this tour was a very last minute decision, but I so glad I did. Inchcolm Island is very much worth the visit, so much history to explore on the island and you get given enough time to see it all properly, and also to have a coffee and snack break or, if you packed your own, lunch on the island. The boat trip itself is enjoyable and it was great going under all three bridges.

A brilliant trip - the boat was great with plenty of space outside to move around and take photos. The commentary was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history and the construction of the three bridges. The captain slowed the boat and carefully manoeuvred so we could see some huge seals resting on a buoy. Inchcolm island and the Abbey were delightful - plenty to walk round and see and lots of history. The staff on the boat and island were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this tour.

Reviews: Seahouses: Seabird and Seal Cruise of the Farne Islands

Lovely little trip. Staff members were very friendly - captain was very knowledgable regarding the surroundings and pointing out areas of interest. Plenty of time out at sea to view the seals and nesting birds (when in season). Perfect for children and adults alike.
