The experience is worth the long drive. Fresh air. Sprawling ancient monastery in the autonomous ********region, delicious local food, endless grasslands with free roaming goats and cows (and shepherds). Ganjia secret realm is about 3000 feet above sea level. Some may get mild symptoms of altitude sickness. Some climbing is required for views in Ganjia.Trip.com picks
