This is a perfect way to see CPT. It covers all the must see spots with clear narration. Frequency of pick up was perfect too. Never have to wait too long. I am so glad I tried it and its highly recommended.

Great insight into the real Cape Town. Both tour guides were really friendly and welcoming. You get to collect amazing impressions, and with the two of them you always feel safe and well looked after. I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the other, not-so-touristy side of Cape Town.

Reviews: Half-Day Tour Through Cape Town's Townships

Jerry our driver who picked us up from our hotel was an excellent guide. Very interesting to listen to and learn about his family. One of the young fellows from Langa Village, Leboo did the walking tour with us. He was fabulous. Very informative and kind to the other villagers. A very worthwhile tour. We would highly recommend.

Reviews: Cape Town: Langa Walking Tour - Siviwe Township Tours
Guest User2026-10-17
The tour is incredibly impressive. I think it is also very good for tourists to discover this side of Cape Town. You know it is there, but when you are here, you really feel it. The guide was someone everyone in the area knew, which made the tour fun and enjoyable. What we did find strange: we had booked this tour well over weeks in advance. We got the impression that the guide had only been called at the last minute. He also didn't seem to have a plan, but asked us what we wanted to see. Which is also very nice, of course. The description (speaking entrepreneurs, dance performance) does not match our experience. Nevertheless, we had a special and valuable afternoon.

It was a fantastic tour. We saw a lot and I highly recommend it. The route follows the coastal road and is great to do with e-bikes. (25km)
