Reviews: Brisbane Moreton Island 1-day tour [optional dolphin watching and dolphin feeding | choose 1 of 5 | Moreton Island]

It was a bad day, but it didn't dampen our spirits at all for whale watching and feeding wild dolphins. Although the whales didn't leap perfectly out of the water, only their backs and tails were visible, the dolphin feeding experience was fantastic. It was my first time being so close to them, and it made me realize how beautiful it is to see humans and animals living in harmony. If we had more time, staying overnight on Moreton Island would have been even better.

Reviews: Quick issue ticket Gold Coast whale watching cruise | multiple cruise packages optional · guaranteed whale sighting rate

The SeaWorld whale watching boat trip was the most satisfying part of our trip to Australia. It's an excellent choice for families with elderly members or young children. The boat is cool, clean, and tidy, and you can also go to the deck for whale watching, but I recommend bringing sunscreen beforehand. We took seasickness medication beforehand and didn't experience any seasickness during the trip, and we saw several whales. The captain provided detailed commentary in English throughout, explaining not only the types and habits of whales but also the local geography, history, and culture. He promptly alerted everyone to whale movements and pointed out their specific locations.

Departed on time. We were lucky we saw many whales. Captain Wayne (I think) was knowledgeable. No food on the boat as described. We went on June 24 at 9am

The fireflies were barely visible because their light was too weak and few in number. The guide was friendly and gave interesting explanations in English, and the cake snacks were delicious. Walking through the mountains at night while listening to the cries of dingoes was a unique experience.

Reviews: Gold Coast Whale Watching Half-Day Tour [Seasonal Exclusive/Close-Up Whale Watching/2.5h]

**Gold Coast Whale Watching Half-Day Tour | We were so lucky to witness the gentlest surprise from the sea!** If there was one particularly memorable moment from this Gold Coast trip, it would definitely be this whale watching. The sea that day was an unrealistically blue. The azure expanse stretched to the horizon, the sunlight filtering through, the water rippling with the movement of the boat. We set off hoping to see whales, but our luck was incredible. Not only did we see whales, but we saw them **up incredibly close**. The first time we saw one leap out of the water, it was truly breathtaking. Then, one, two, and later even three whales appeared together, surfacing and disappearing very close to us. They would surface, backs up, tails swaying, then suddenly dive back in, only to reappear in another direction. It was as if the entire ocean was their stage. What's most interesting is that they keep "posing," appearing in a different pose each time. Just when you think you've witnessed the most spectacular moment, they pop up in a completely unexpected spot. At that moment, you truly feel that the most beautiful encounter between humans and nature is probably like this—no script, no warning, yet you just happen to witness it. This time, we also purchased the captain's **VIP lounge service**. I personally think it was well worth it. The VIP area offers better viewing positions, more comfortable space, and VIP guests are also provided with complimentary seasickness medication, which is very useful for those prone to seasickness. However, a word of caution: if you are prone to seasickness, you must take your medication before the ship departs. My husband clearly underestimated his seasickness this time. We started in the VIP area, but after a short while, he had to move to the regular area on the first floor to rest. It seems that the body is quite honest when facing the sea. As for myself, there was also a very "unforgettable" little incident this time. Because we were among the first invited to the bow of the ship for whale watching, we brought our DJI Pocket 4, determined to capture the whales on camera. However, a wave crashed over us, soaking the Pocket 4 completely, and I wasn't much better off. Thankfully, the VIP service was incredibly attentive; the staff immediately offered us towels. Looking back now, I realize this little incident became an integral part of the whale watching trip. After all, the real ocean is never a quiet backdrop. It has wind, waves, sunshine, and sudden surges of seawater. And we waited on that sea, watching the whales appear again and again. The entire 2.5-hour journey ended quickly, and looking back at that azure sea, I felt a pang of reluctance to leave. Especially for our close encounter with multiple whales at the same time, it really requires a bit of luck. And we clearly used up all our luck at sea that day.
