A great tour with lots of historical interest, stops in good weather, a good way to visit the city in a single day. I only had one afternoon free and was able to see the most important parts of the center. We enjoyed it very much.

It's that easy. You request the card and receive it digitally via email. Take a photo or print it out, and you have it readily available. We weren't checked even once in the 5 days. You can easily choose your route via Google Maps. We never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a metro, tram, or bus.

Where ever we go visit we like to take a Hop-on-hop-off bus to give us an overview of what the city has to offer. It is a great way to sit back and enjoy the sights and get off if there is something you would like to enjoy close up. The directions and commentary in English was a bit difficult to understand and I recommend a correction in English to change saying "next stop" when you really mean "this stop!" We were listening for "next stop" for the English Gardens, but it was actually the prior stop, so we had to ride the bus again to get off where we wanted. Also, it was unclear which bus to take at the beginning. There seemed to be a mad dash to the buses, yet not until you got to the front of the line did you know if the bus was the right one or not.

I loved this tour. In a little over two hours, I got a broad overview of the most important Munich sites. The English explanation was excelllent. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hop-on, hop-off.
