Reviews: Gold Coast Glow Worm Night Tour [Optional Tamborine/Springbrook National Park with Transfers]
Guest User2026-08-22
The fireflies were barely visible because their light was too weak and few in number. The guide was friendly and gave interesting explanations in English, and the cake snacks were delicious. Walking through the mountains at night while listening to the cries of dingoes was a unique experience.★

It was a tour that made my last night in Australia an enchanting moment I will never forget. Fireflies are better seen with your own eyes than in photos.★

Love this eSIM. Just press install and on the data roaming upon landing and ready to use. Very cheap. And you can monitor through the trip app your usage and remaining data.★

Glow Worm tour last night up at Mt. Tambourine National Park with Southern Cross Tours - our tour guide Alex was excellent with a cracking sense of humour! Made everyone feel welcome and shared a great variety of information on the drive, which was really interesting and fun! The views on the way up to the park were stunning and if you have time you should definitely check it out during daylight hours too if you get the chance.
We saw an amazing selection of creatures, including a water dragon, huge panda(?) snail, giant (and I mean giant!) cricket, a selection of spiders, a cane toad, cute frog and a couple of leaf-tailed gheckos! The slaters curled themselves into a ball when picked up and were so metallic! We did see the glow worms too of course, but difficult to get good photos on my phone.
Highly recommend! 👌
