Things to do in Guigang

We had a wonderful family trip to Beidi Mountain during the National Day holiday. The mountain peaks were shrouded in mist, and the cable car ride offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains was truly awe-inspiring. The park's performances were excellent, and the natural scenery was pristine. The whole family had a fantastic time.

Last weekend I spent the whole day at Xishan Mountain in Guiping. The hiking trails were well-maintained and easy to walk on, with many ancient trees along the way providing good shade. The spring water on the mountain was especially sweet and refreshing; I filled a bottle and drank it. The food stalls halfway up the mountain were reasonably priced, and I had a bowl of local rice noodles that tasted authentic. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations.

The park isn't large, less than 50,000 steps. Its biggest advantage is the close proximity of the animals, allowing for safe, close-up observation. Food inside is inexpensive, but aside from water and grilled sausages, there's not much else. The wontons and other snacks aren't very good and not worth the effort. However, the park is somewhat neglected; the smell is unusually strong, and it's a bit dirty…

The monkeys were quite fierce. On the way, they picked my bag to find food. We drove by ourselves all the way. There were few places to visit. I was a little disappointed. Because of the weather, I didn't experience rafting. There were also few places to play in the water.

The circus is great, with tons of tigers, bears, and other animals. You can buy food to feed the bears, elephants, and tigers. Renting an electric cart to explore the park is much less tiring. I'd suggest charging 40 yuan for half an hour after the first hour for the electric cart; that would be reasonable.

This is the first stop of the trip. Since we arrived in Guigang earlier, we chose Tongguwan Hot Spring. The hot spring is located in Gangnan District, Guigang City. The internal environment is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We can soak in it to relieve the fatigue of the journey.

From Guigang, ride a bicycle to the tea garden and hike up the mountain. The scenery is breathtaking. The sky is flat, and when you reach the top of the mountain, you will feel like you are at the top of the world, with a panoramic view of all the other mountains. It is worth climbing once.

The attraction is very off the beaten path, and rarely visited. The garden design is very similar to those in Suzhou, but the environment and cleanliness are exceptionally well maintained. It's also a great spot for taking photos. The only downside is that the nearby buildings are quite tall, which slightly obstructs the view. The parking lot entrance is too small, making parking difficult, but underground parking is excellent, and parking is free for the first four hours.

Nanshan Temple in Guigang City is located in Nanshan Park. It has beautiful scenery, natural and pure natural scenery, which is refreshing and interesting. It is a good choice, comfortable and cozy, with a suitable temperature. It feels very good, great.

During the 2026 New Year's Day holiday, the Tianshang Grassland Tourist Area (Route B, Longtoushan) in Guigang City, Guangxi Province, welcomed its first peak tourist season.
