Vagoo is located in Wangxian Township, Guangxin District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. It belongs to the Lingshan Mountains, just at the foot of the seventy-two peaks of Lingshan. The valley is remote and quiet, the stream is jubilant, and the pebbles are flying waterfalls. There are rammed earth walls, bluestone roads, yellow walls and black tiles, and original village houses unique to Jiangxi folk houses; there are also pines and bamboo seas and the unique Ganjia market. In the Vagoo, you can enjoy the folk customs, landscape and humanities of the Gan family, experience the long farming culture of our country, taste delicious food, and live a slow life for a few days. It is a good place for leisure, vacation, and parent-child study.Shangrao · 70.4 km from Guixi

The Xianshuiyan Scenic Area in Longhushan is located approx. 20 km from downtown Yingtan, Jiangxi Province. Traveling upstream by small boat and downstream by bamboo raft, you can enjoy the strange peaks and blue waves. It is a relaxing and scenic tour. Xianshuiyan is the collective name for Xianyan (Immortal Rock) and Shuiyan (Water Rock). Xianshuiyan is famous for its blue waters and red mountains. The area is filled with strange rocks, where mountains and water complement each other, and attractions are concentrated here. The ten beautiful attractions of Xianshuiyan: Monk and Nun Peak ("Love lasts forever under the Couple Peak"): Also known as Couple Peak, the peak is approx. 200 m high. The front peak resembles a woman's head, and the rear peak has a crack, looking like an injured man leaning on the woman's back. Historically called the Male and Female Rocks, the *Longhushan Annals* record: "The Male and Female Rocks are below Xianyan; the two rocks resemble people standing back-to-back, commonly called the Husband and Wife Rocks." Geologically, Monk and Nun Peak is a residual collapse-type rock peak landscape, formed by long-term erosion from rainwater, weathering, and rockfall. Fairy Peach Rock ("The fairy peach is sweet to the heart"): A protruding rock peak, over 80 m high. Viewed from a distance, it looks like a giant peach with a bite taken out of it. Legend has it that it is the peach Sun Wukong picked from the Flat Peach Garden when he wreaked havoc in Heaven; eating one bite grants 9,000 years of life, making it a folk symbol of longevity. Fairy Peach Rock is a residual collapse-type rock peak landscape formed by rainwater erosion, weathering, and rockfall. Lotus Rock ("A lucky encounter as the stone lotus blooms"): Located next to Fairy Peach Rock, it consists of more than 10 giant rocks shaped like petals arranged in a circle, resembling a blooming lotus. Viewed from a distance, it looks like a lotus in the water, still in the breeze. In the center is a small rock resembling lotus seeds, and next to it is a small rock shaped like a frog, forming a wonderful "Frog Playing with Lotus" scene. Lotus Rock is a small peak cluster landscape formed by the accumulation of rocks that collapsed from higher peaks. Jade Comb Rock ("The jade comb combs the heart, not the hair"): A large rock exposed above the water surface, with several toothed indentations on its surface, shaped like a hair comb. Folklore says it can be used to comb away worries and sorrows from one's heart. Jade Comb Rock is a tooth-shaped landscape formed by rocks that collapsed from the mountain and were eroded by flowing water along joints. Fairy Mushroom Rock ("A fated encounter brings the fairy mushroom"): A rock peak exposed above the water with a protruding round top, approx. 30 m high, looking like a large mushroom standing in the water. Legend has it that it was a gift from the Eight Immortals to Celestial Master Zhang. Fairy Mushroom Rock was formed by long-term river erosion and corrosion, with the base concave to form a ring-shaped groove, making the whole look like a mushroom standing in the water. Stone Drum Peak ("The stone drum sounds silently from beyond the sky"): Also known as Literary Giant Peak, an isolated peak approx. 80 m high stands on the shore, resembling a giant drum. Viewed from the north, it looks very much like the head of Lu Xun, and also like the head of Gorky, hence the name Literary Giant Peak. Daotang Rock ("The Daoist hall brings blessings with the waves"): A mountain rock approx. 60 m high. The side facing the water has formed a large horizontal cave due to river erosion, and the water below is deep and turbulent. Legend has it that Celestial Master Zhang held Daoist rituals here to pray for blessings and safety for passing guests. Cloud Brocade Rock ("Cloud brocade hangs, the colorful gate opens"): A rock peak approx. 100 m high and 300 m long stands by the water. Viewed from a distance, the peak looks like it was split by an axe, dropping vertically with majestic momentum. Its colorful hues resemble a giant cloud brocade shawl. Legend has it that this shawl, woven by the Weaver Girl in heaven, is a colorful gate to the human world; passing through it can bring happiness and good fortune. Many wild birds nest on the top of the shawl, and their white droppings on the red rock wall are quite spectacular. Fairy Rock ("Ascend to the Jade Terrace before the Fairy Rock"): A natural landscape created by heaven and earth, a rock peak approx. 100 m high facing north. These ten beautiful attractions are also known among the people as the "Ten Impossibles," and each one has a moving story passed down.Guixi · 36 km from downtown

Wuwen Village is located on the east bank of Tunxi River in Xujia Village, Xianshuiyan Scenic Area . The villagers of Wuwen Village have always relied on fishing and farming for a living. The villagers are well known in the area to have especially long lives, so the village is sometimes also called "Longevity Village". The village's scenery is very beautiful, facing the river on one side and surrounded by mountains on the other three sides. Besides the villagers' longevity, there is another peculiar phenomenon in this village, namely, that it seems to have no mosquitoes! That is why the village is called "Wuwen Village" ("Wu" means "without" and "Wen" means "mosquito", so it literally means the "Village without Mosquitoes). Wuwen Village is the ideal summer resort destination.Guixi · 36 km from downtown

Mount Huangshan is famous for its long history. "You would not want to visit mountains after visiting the Five Sacred Mountains, and you would not want to visit the Five Sacred Mountains after visiting Huangshan." Xu Xiake, a great traveler and geographer of the Ming Dynasty, twice ascended Huangshan to witness its magnificence, exclaiming it as "a wonder in life." Dramatic Pines, grotesque rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs are known as the “Four Musts” of Huangshan. They are the uncanny workmanship of nature and cannot be missed. In addition, the haze, snow scene, and sunrise are unique landscapes of Huangshan. Each landscape has its unique beauty and makes you feel like you are in a fairyland.China · Huangshan City

Huangling Ancient Village is a typical mountain village, Souvenir by thousands of ancient trees and tens of thousands of acres of terraced fields, creating a idyllic mountain life like a paradise. It has a beautiful natural environment and rich history and culture. It is a famous historical and cultural village in ancient Huizhou. The ancient village of Huangling hangs on the cliff, and the ground is not flat for three feet. For hundreds of years, the villagers have been accustomed to "communicating" with the rugged terrain with a peaceful mentality, painting a picture of "people drying their crops in the sun in autumn". In March, rapeflowers are in full bloom on tens of thousands of acres of terraced fields in Huangling, dotted with pink peach blossoms and snow-white pear blossoms, forming a beautiful ink painting. Here, you can become one with nature and have close contact with the sea of flowers. At the end of March, the second phase of Huangrapeling Gaoling Terraced Fields Flower Sea came online. Due to the large altitude difference, low temperature, and late-maturing rapeseed varieties, the flowering period is relatively late, and the second phase of the flower sea can last until mid-April. Come to Huangling in summer and start a wonderful summer night trip. Take a look at the night view of the ancient village, feel the sunset glow of Huangling, the lights of thousands of houses, walk on the country road with the dancing and circling 100-meter-long dragon, stroll in the quaint streets with a lantern, feel the romance of the magic forest, watch a retro old movie at the entrance of the village, and visit the cool market in the countryside. As soon as the beginning of autumn arrives, the ancient village of Huangling becomes a drying field. Come to the people who dry autumn leaves to admire the red maple leaves, enjoy the autumn leaves drying on the roof, the maple forest is dyed red, experience the folk customs, hand-cranked windmills, pumpkin traps, etc., and feel the nostalgic charm of the people who dry autumn leaves. In winter, every household in Huangling is busy drying and processing traditional local specialties for New Year's goods. The roofs are full of preserved meat customs, "drying" folk customs and "celebrating" the harvest, which means a bumper harvest in the New Year. With the arrival of the Winter Solstice, the Huangling Folk Culture Festival begins and lasts until the Lantern Festival next year. Here, you can listen to operas, visit the market, taste food, and taste the folk customs of the New Year; bask in the warm sun, cook tea around the stove, enjoy the elegant winter things, invite family and friends to take a health-preserving warm soup, and enjoy a winter-limited snow scene. In Huangling, you can enjoy the beautiful rural scenery and experience the modern urban life. You can see the exquisite and simple Huizhou century-old houses as well as the fashion and elegance of star-rated hotels. In Huangling, tourists can not only taste authentic folk snacks such as steamed cakes, Qingming fruit, gray juice fruit, etc., but also participate in the whole process of making folk snacks and handicrafts.China · Wuyuan

Wuyishan National Park

Wuyishan National Park is located in the northern section of the Wuyishan mountain range in northwestern Fujian, stretching across the border area between Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. It is one of China's first established national parks, and Wuyishan itself was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for both culture and nature as early as 1999. The park was formed by integrating the former Wuyishan National Nature Reserve and Wuyishan Scenic Area: the Tongmu area in the north focuses on ecological conservation and scientific research, preserving a rare intact mid-subtropical forest ecosystem at this latitude. The main peak of the Wuyishan range, Mount Huanggang, is also located here, and this core area does not offer regular tourism activities. Sightseeing activities are concentrated in the scenic areas along both banks of the Nine-bend Stream, namely the four major sections: Tianyou Peak to Taoyuan Cave, Nine-bend Stream to Wuyi Palace, One-line Sky to Tiger Roaring Rock, and Dahongpao to Water Curtain Cave. The attractions in the scenic area are relatively scattered with considerable distance between them. A leisurely visit typically requires two to three days. If you only have one day, start by ascending Tianyou Peak for a panoramic view of the emerald waters and crimson mountains along the Nine-bend Stream, then take a bamboo raft downstream from Xingcun Wharf. Along the way, you'll pass landmarks like Jade Maiden Peak, Great King Peak, cliff inscriptions, and suspended boat coffins. The rafting journey ends at Wuyi Palace, making it an ideal classic route. Tea enthusiasts may prefer spending time on the leisurely Rock Bone Floral Trail between Dahongpao and Water Curtain Cave. This gentle path connects core Wuyi rock tea production areas like Liuxiangjian and Huiyuankeng, offering a uniquely fragrant experience. With two days, you can cover all four major sections. For more time, consider visiting the ancient tea merchants' residences in Xiamei Village, the starting point of the ancient Tea Horse Road, or exploring the ruins of the Minyue King's City near Chengcun Village—the latter also being part of Wuyishan's world heritage site. Bamboo rafting is very popular, so please make arrangements in advance during peak season. To get close to the ecological heart of the park, you can take the Wuyishan National Park No. 1 scenic route. Places like Moon Bay and Qinglong Waterfall are suitable for self-drive or private charter. As for food, street snacks like flat meat dumplings and Vietnamese noodles are common, while Langu smoked goose and local dishes cooked with alpine bamboo shoots and mushrooms are also worth trying.Wuyishan · 99.6 km from Guixi

The lights of the stilted houses on the cliff face illuminate the mountainside, and the reflections in the stream create a truly immersive fantasy atmosphere. The best spots for taking photos are the Moon-Viewing Bridge, the Hundred-Goose Bridge, and the Cliff Library.

If you take a bamboo raft when you visit Longhu Mountain Scenic Area in Jiangxi, you can see Xianshui Rock. Going along the Luxi River, there are more than 100 peaks within seven kilometers. Xianshui Rock is one of them and is also the 24th peak. You can see many strange rocks and peaks by taking a boat up and a bamboo raft down. It is quite relaxing to sit on the boat and listen to the explanation. If you are interested, you can count which one is the 24th peak.

Before I came here, I heard that this is a magical place with average scenery, but no mosquitoes. For friends who don't like mosquitoes, this place must be friendly. Of course, there are also a few simple homestays and places to eat in this village. If you are hungry, you can come here to eat.

I woke up at 4:30 a.m. to watch the sunrise at 6:10 a.m., and it was a magical experience. The sky was painted in a thousand different colours!I then explored Xihai Grand Canyon and took the funicular. The views were magnificent! From there, you can continue hiking to other peaks or head to the cable car to descend to the city.I spent a little more time wandering around, but as the day was sunny, huge crowds started pouring in. I decided to leave before it got too busy.An unforgettable morning!

Huangling has a long-standing reputation, and I came here with high expectations. Even though I traveled during off-peak hours, it was still quite crowded. Fortunately, the parking lot was large and free, and the management was good! The scenic area is not large, and it's quite comfortable to walk around. There are quite a few steps, and the restrooms were very clean!

Taking a bamboo raft trip offers beautiful views of both sides of the river. The journey takes about 90 minutes and is entirely by manual pole-pole propelling. The water quality is excellent, crystal clear. Climbing Tianyou Peak requires considerable physical strength; I saw three people faint and need resuscitation along the way. Those lacking stamina are advised against climbing.
