Things to do in Heihe

The adorable deer in the deer park and the incredibly high levels of negative ions in the forest park made this trip full of joy and relaxation. The driver was warm, polite, and humorous, picking us up and dropping us off at the attractions on time. A happy and enjoyable journey! 👍

Seeing the volcanic rock formations was a fun and educational experience. The birch leaves turn a beautiful golden yellow in autumn. The path is a wooden boardwalk, flat and gentle, making it easy to walk. Overall, the experience was quite pleasant.

Wudalianchi is a key scenic spot in 2026. The whole visit takes about an hour and a half. Enter from the East Gate, walk to the middle pier, take a boat to the West Gate, and then take a shuttle bus back to the East Gate.

The Sino-Russian Ethnic Culture Park, nestled against the backdrop of mountains and the banks of the Heilongjiang River, offers stunning scenery. The park features five distinct ethnic groups, and the Russian-style architecture of Chekhov Street and the Northeastern Yangge dance performed by Russian girls are among its highlights. The film and television studio is also quite unique, though some of the buildings are in disrepair.

I caught the tail end of the National Day holiday and received a complimentary double ticket to Aoneng Pool on October 7th. Since only the indoor pool is open this season, the lack of outdoor facilities made it less fun than Aoneng. The butler, Nian Gao, was very thoughtful, coordinating birthday arrangements and providing special birthday benefits for the three days before and after my birthday. The lady I met during the event, Youzi, was incredibly friendly and approachable; you could tell she was dedicated to serving every customer, making for a very pleasant experience.

Perhaps we came at the wrong time; the Wenbo Scenic Area was closed due to flooding from rain. Those interested in geology might want to check it out. The scenery is unique, featuring a volcanic crater, rocks, and a crater lake.

Overall, it's a good experience; the scenery is nice, but it's a bit far from Heihe city center, and public transportation isn't very convenient. Walking along the wooden boardwalk, three hours should be enough for the whole trip.

It was a truly fascinating boat trip. The dock was easy to find, close to popular Heihe attractions, and the boats departed frequently, making the tickets convenient and affordable! From the dock, the boat journey continued downstream along the Heilongjiang River, a 40-minute round trip. The boat was equipped with binoculars, which provided stunning views and a clear view of Russian buildings and people on the other side.

There are not many places in China that can really be called ancient cities. Most of them are remodeled and imitated in the past. One history that you must not forget when you come to Anhui is the history of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, there are various stories related to the Qing Dynasty in the ancient cities of Anhui. Compared with the humanistic stories one after another, I prefer the natural landscape and the buildings built in the later period.
