Things to do in Huaying

The Grand Canyon must have been beautiful, but unfortunately, we encountered a very foggy day, so we couldn't see much of the scenery from the mountain. The Yunlong Ground Fissure, which we visited in the afternoon, was unaffected by the fog and was quite spectacular. Even though we bought tickets for the cable car, elevator, and other amenities, we still almost broke our legs from all the walking, which will affect our itinerary for several days. I recommend that if you're not very confident in your hiking skills, you buy a combined ticket that includes the cable car, elevator, and escalator.

My stay in Chongqing was fantastic! The hotel boasts a superb location, within walking distance of Eling No. 2 Factory and Liziba Viewpoint, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The rooms were spotless and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the amenities were complete. The free parking was a great convenience for travelers with cars. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and easy, and patiently answering all my questions. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and is a top choice for any trip. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Overall it was good, but there were a lot of flying insects that looked like wild bees 🐝 along the way. Several people were stung, and I got stung too! Luckily, I had some ointment with me, so it was just slight redness and swelling. But the initial sting was really painful, like being electrocuted. Flying thousands of kilometers to get stung, now the trip is perfect! 🤣🤣🤣

Guang'an White Pagoda, also known as the "Shari" Pagoda, was built during the Chunxi to Jiading period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1174-1224 AD). It is located on the side of the Longzi Beach of Qujiang River, 2 kilometers south of Guang'an City. It is square and 36.7 meters high. The tower body is a brick and stone structure, imitating the wooden pavilion-style building, with a total of 9 floors. The 1st to 5th floors are stone structures, the 6th to 9th floors are square brick structures, and 3 layers are colored. The tower is hollow, and there are stairs between the floors to climb to the top of the tower. There is no pagoda, and the top is connected in all directions. There are 88 stone Buddha statues on both sides of the 1st to 4th floors (no longer exist). The second generation of the river side has the eight characters "Tathagata Bearded Phase, Shari Pagoda". The tower and the opposite Kuixing Pagoda are far apart, "looking up and far away, it is outstanding in the clouds".

Each person paid an extra 80 yuan to access the VIP area, where we sat at the bow of the boat. There were snacks, fruit, and drinks, along with a commentary and a face-changing performance. The night view from the boat was indeed excellent, especially in the VIP area where there was no need to squeeze with the crowds; everyone was right next to the side of the boat, allowing for photos anytime. The entire trip lasted 40 minutes. However, the journey to Hongyadong Wharf was incredibly congested, chaotic, and packed with people...

Nice visit to chengdu museum, it's free of charge. There are a few levels with different themes which u can visit for a few hours.

It's great in every way. The only starting point for the Three Gorges Summit hike is Baidi City, and the scenery is beautiful. Food and drinks on the mountain cost 10 yuan per serving. There are many steep uphill sections, and the hike is about 10 kilometers and takes about 6 hours. After the hike, there are local private cars available for 30 yuan per person to take you down the mountain from the high-speed rail station or other places.

As the spotlight fell, red silk billowed from both sides of the stage, instantly enveloping the entire theater in a profound sense of history. When the actors playing revolutionaries, armed with wooden rifles, charged forward amidst the smoke and fire, an elderly man in the front row quietly wiped a tear from his eye. From the gunshots by the river, to that declaration that transcends over seventy years, every shout resonated with the audience's hearts. In the final scene, as the national flag was unfurled, the entire theater spontaneously erupted in applause. That deafening roar wasn't stage sound effects; it was the most direct empathy from everyone present for that groundbreaking era. This wasn't a distant story confined to books; it was the real, tangible footsteps of our forefathers.
