Its 13 miles long glacial valley runs through the Khumbelian Mountains and offers picturesque scenery of mountains, lakes, and villages. The Castlerigg Stone Circle is located on the top of the hill a mile east of the town. It is composed of 48 boulders and has a history of three or four thousand years. Although it is not as spectacular as Stonehenge, it is equally mysterious and may be a landmark of the tribe at that time, or it was built to observe the movement of the sun and the moon. The stone circle is surrounded by mountains, and the scenery is very good. However, due to its remote location, public transportation is not convenient, and it is more suitable for tourists who drive by themselves and do not take the usual road.Saint John's Castlerigg and Wythburn · 5.4 km from downtown

The Pencil Museum in Keswick is a well-known attraction in this town. Because of the unique natural resources such as minerals and forests in this area, the quality of pencils produced is also ranked in the world. In this pencil museum, you can explore the complete development and application history of pencils, as well as the production process of modern pencils, and you can also buy the original Keswick pencils - Derwent pencils. A good photo spot in the museum is undoubtedly a giant pencil about two meters high, which is erected straight in the corner of the exhibition hall for visitors to measure their height. If you want to bring some souvenirs back, why not ask the staff to make a set of Deyun pencils engraved with your exclusive letters for you.Keswick · 546m from downtown

Windermere is such a beautiful place to visit, surrounded by peaceful scenery and incredible views. Walking near the lake was especially relaxing, and there are plenty of lovely spots to stop and enjoy the landscape. I’d recommend taking a boat trip if you have time, as it gives you a completely different view of the area. A wonderful destination for a relaxing day in the Lake District. 🌿⛵🏞️

The Castlerigg Stone Circle was built more than 3,000 years ago. The stone circle is slightly oval in shape, with an average diameter of about 30 meters and about 40 stones in total. This stone circle always reminds people of Stonehenge. I don't know why, because there are always traces of stone circles in historical relics.

The Pencil Museum in Keswick is a private museum that collects pencils and pens produced in the UK in various historical periods, as well as writing and printing utensils. There are so many collections that it is eye-opening. It turns out that you can make such a big name. It is really good and full of nostalgia. It is worth a visit.

The attraction is fun so long as you take the time to read and follow instructions of the illusions. The stairs to get in at very steep. We enjoyed it and it''s not particularly expensive.
