Olympos Ancient City
Olympos Ancient City is a historic ancient city site in southern Turkey, located near the village of Cılar within the Beyda Mountains National Park, approximately 87 kilometers from the center of Antalya. Olympos Ancient City's history dates back to the 2nd century BC, when it was a member of the Lycian League, holding a prominent position within the league with three votes. In the 1st century BC, the city was occupied by the Sercian pirate leader Zenikites, serving as a pirate base until it was conquered by the Roman general Publius Servilius Isauricus in 78 BC. Olympos subsequently became part of the Roman Empire and was visited by Emperor Hadrian around 130 AD, earning it the name "Hadrian's City." Today, the ruins of Olympos Ancient City include a Roman theater, baths, a temple gate, a bridge, and a recently excavated church mosaic floor. Suluada
Suluada is an uninhabited Mediterranean island off Turkey's Antalya coast, known as the Maldives of Turkey. Located at the western end of Antalya Bay, its name means “Watery Island” for its rare freshwater spring in the sea.
