The Kurashiki Bikan area is located on the banks of the Kurashiki River and covers an area of about 13.5 hectares. It is one of the only ancient towns in Japan. Similar to the domestic Wuzhen and Xitang, but the architectural style is inconsistent. There are many mansions of businessmen at that time and modern buildings such as the Ohara Art Museum and many museums that were built later.Kurashiki · 1.2 km from downtown

The Ohara Art Museum was established in 1930 by Kurashiki entrepreneur Sun Saburo Ohara. This is a private art museum, mainly focusing on Western exhibits. The museum has a small facade, shaded by ivy-like greenery, but after entering, the tall buildings in Greek style make people feel like they are in Europe. It houses the representative works of Barbizon school, Impressionism and modern Western European art such as El Greco's "Notice of Conception" and Monet's "Water Lilies". In addition, there is a collection of masterpieces of great significance in the history of modern Japanese art after the Meiji period (1868~), such as Kishida Ryusheng's "Dance of a Virgin". In addition to these collections, art lectures and gallery concerts are held here.Kurashiki · 1.2 km from downtown

I visited Kurashiki last Sunday and absolutely loved it! The town perfectly blends Edo-period charm with modern cafes. The atmosphere is lively yet incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend using this pass! It is incredibly worth it. You can redeem it for activities like the traditional canal boat ride, museum entries, or local snacks. It saves a lot of money and is super convenient.

Okayama Castle is located in Okayama Prefecture. It is also called Kuro Castle because the wall panels of the castle tower are painted black. It is also called Jinku Castle because of the golden roof and the golden animal head tiles on the top of the watchtower. From the Warring States Period to the Meiji Restoration, it was successively owned by the Ukita family, the Kobayakawa family, and the Ikeda family. The castle tower, the Tsukimi Turret, the Nishite Turret, and the Ishiyama Gate, which were built in the Momoyama style, have all been rated as national treasures of Japan. Okayama Castle is a five-story, six-story building and is one of the oldest castles in Japan.

Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were very few people, and no one needed to queue for any of the attractions. The facilities are a bit old, but the highlight is the Seto Inland Sea scenery. There's a direct loop bus from Kojima JR Station.

It is a very old park. The trees inside seem to be very old. When it is hot in summer, the place is filled with the sound of cicadas. There are rice fields and tea gardens. It should be even more beautiful in spring. After going out from the side door and walking across a bridge, Okayama Castle is on the other side of the river.

【View】Achi Shrine is the main temple of the Hongo School of the Shinshu sect of Judo, known as "Onishiyama". The area has been designated as a national historic site and has also been registered as a World Heritage Site. 【Fun】The building is full of national treasures and heavy sentences, and the impressive cathedral scattered over a vast area is impressive. The majesty of the national treasure Mikagedo will overwhelm you. It has one of the largest existing buildings from the Edo period. The procession outside is covered with 441 tatami mats, and the area is so large that more than 1,200 people can worship at the same time. 【Value for money】For some reason, it is a space that calms the mind. I was impressed by the magnificent sculpture of the bell tower (heavy sentence). I couldn't see the Hiunkaku (national treasure) because it was under restoration, but I was able to see precious photos during the construction.
