We visited Zhuge Bagua Village during the National Day holiday. There were quite a few tourists, but our family took our time, spending about four hours there including lunch – a perfect pace, neither rushed nor tiring. The village is laid out according to the Bagua (Eight Trigrams) principle, with winding alleys that are quite interesting. The Bell Pond, the Grand Hall, and the Prime Minister's Ancestral Hall are all historical sites worth seeing. The original inhabitants still live in the village, giving it a lively and welcoming atmosphere. We found a local restaurant for lunch, enjoying the authentic and homely food. Strolling along the cobblestone paths, admiring the old houses and wood carvings, and learning about the history of Zhuge Liang's descendants with the children made for a pleasant educational experience.
