Things to do in Maroochydore

Not a must to visit but still worth going for a leisury scroll if you have the time. Its a modest aquarium with interesting creatures. Quite educational.

My biggest takeaway from this trip to the Australia Zoo is: arrive early, or you'll definitely miss the 1:30 pm crocodile show! The Crocoseum area is very crowded, so it's best to arrive at least half an hour early to secure a good spot. The crocodile show is spectacular, and the zookeepers' explanations are excellent. Seeing the crocodiles up close is incredibly impressive; missing it would be a real shame. The kangaroo experience is also a big plus. You can walk into the kangaroo enclosure, get up close to the kangaroos, squat down to gently feed them, and take photos. They are mostly very docile. However, please follow the park rules: don't chase or try to hold them.

[Scenery] The Big Pineapple Plantation includes a 16-meter-high pineapple-shaped building and a surrounding theme park. In fact, the so-called theme park has gradually been abandoned, which is a pity for the green lawn, free-range peacocks, alpacas, and some growing pineapples. [Fun] The scenic area is now equivalent to an ordinary park, but it can still be visited and you can take a sightseeing train to get there. [Value for money] Although there are many disappointments, there are still tourists who come to take photos with the 16-meter-high Big Pineapple, a former landmark.
