Beilv Tianyuan Heifengguan Ancient Town Scenic Area is located in Tangjia Village, Xinli Town, Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, covering an area of 1,100 mu, with a total planned area of 3,000 mu in the future. Currently, 270 million yuan has been invested, and the total investment is expected to be 500 million yuan. The scenic area is based on the background of Li Shimin, the king of Tang Dynasty, conquering Goguryeo, and restored the original site and appearance of Heifengguan at that time. With the theme of restoring the prosperous scene of the market under the prosperous Tang Dynasty, it combines the architecture, customs, culture and modern performances of the Tang Dynasty to form a unique tourism resource in Liaoning Province. The scenic area integrates ancient towns, performances, snow villages, hot springs, homestays, amusement, food and other elements to form a comprehensive resort with three major themes of tourism and leisure, hot spring vacations, and health and wellness life. The interior is laid out in a structure of "one town, two parks, three streets and four districts". The first town is "Heifenguan Ancient Town" which is the center of the scenic area. The two parks are "Datang Happy Valley" and "Warrior Camp Water Park". There are more than 50 amusement projects for tourists to play. The three streets are "Market Snack Street", "Yongxingfang" and "Changlefang". They are the main cultural blocks of the scenic area, satisfying the experience of eating, playing and shopping for all tourists. The four districts are "Jiaojunchang Challenge Area", "Tangwangshan Sliding Area", "Glacier Holy Land Area" and "Crescent Lake Hot Spring Area", which are comprehensive experience areas for tourists to visit and entertain. The scenic area also has ten themed room types with a total of more than 200 homestays to meet the needs of different groups of tourists. Origin of Heifengguan Pass: After the first rebellion was suppressed in 645 AD, on the way back to the Tang army, the king of Tang found that the land here was fertile, the grass was abundant, the climate was suitable, and it was very suitable for farming. The king of Tang thought that if this place was developed as a border fortress, it would be the best of both worlds to firmly control the Liaodong area and serve as a supply base for the army's food and grass. So he decided to select 3,000 young and strong soldiers from the army to stay here to open up wasteland and cultivate land, store food and grass, and use them as food supplements for the next expedition to the east. Sure enough, these people who stayed behind made great contributions to the two subsequent expeditions to the east, solving the problem of wartime supplies. After the three expeditions to the east, more than 20 years had passed, and the 3,000 warriors who had stayed behind were nearly 50 years old. They intermarried with the locals and had children, and got used to the abundant life here, becoming locals, so they were unwilling to return to the distant Chang'an. After the court learned of this situation, it reported to the emperor, and the King of Tang approved it, allowing these people to continue to stay, and gave them the surname "Tang", and this place was named Tangjia Village. After a thousand years, the place name of Tangjia Village has been preserved to this day. The location of the scenic spot is in Tangjia Village. In the early Tang Dynasty, the general Yeon Gaesomun of Goguryeo launched a rebellion. Goguryeo relied on its large number of soldiers and generals to force the King of Bo Liao to betray the court. He raised troops to rebel and attempted to capture Chang'an. In order to suppress the rebellion, the King of Tang led the army in person. In order to suppress the rebellion and win the victory, the King of Tang led the soldiers to train day and night. The morale of our army was high and they were ready to go. In 645 AD, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, led a large army across Liaoze and Liaohe River to attack Goguryeo. Xue Li was the vanguard officer and led the first group to arrive here, which was later called "Xue Li's expedition to the east through Panjin". The Tang king arrived at Liaoze. The swamp of more than 200 miles in this area was impassable for people and horses. The minister Yan Lide was ordered to use soil to make a bridge, and the army traveled day and night. On the fifth day of the first lunar month, he crossed Liaoze to the east. On the tenth day of the first lunar month, the Tang king crossed Liaohe River and removed the bridge to strengthen the confidence of the soldiers. Knowing that the rebels were stationed in Mashou Mountain, under the leadership of the Tang king, the Tang army went north all the way and successfully occupied Heifeng Pass, Shizikou, and Sanjiang Yuehu City! According to experts, the above "to Liaoze" and "crossing Liaoshui" are from the Han and Tang dynasties. The geographical location from Liaoze to Liaohe River is in today's Panjin area. The ancient town of Heifeng Pass is located here. The scenic spot was restored according to the original site and appearance at that time.Panjin · 9.9 km from downtown

A highly recommended scenic spot. The red Suaeda salsa, blue sea, and golden rice paddies create a picturesque autumn landscape. It's advisable to check the tide schedule beforehand and visit before high tide, as the morning light is ideal for taking great photos. A great place for family trips, with birdwatching, red-crowned crane releases, crab fishing, and more. Children can learn a lot while having fun.

Located in Panjin, it's surrounded by other scenic spots, offering a variety of options for sightseeing and entertainment. There are large-scale amusement facilities, NPC quests to participate in and earn rewards, and plenty of local snacks. However, it's not recommended to go after dinner, as you only have two or three hours before getting off work, and you won't be able to finish exploring everything.

I've been here many times, but this year they require a deposit for everything, which is really annoying. I put down a total deposit of 2400 yuan. I have to check each place to see if my deposit has been refunded. Everything else is great; the kids love it and can't possibly play everything in one day. The facilities on the second floor are a bit old, but the foot massage in the relaxation area is excellent.

Come here and play. In addition to watching birds, you can also buy some local rice from rice fields. Although the small crabs are not very big, they are all truly wild and are still good.

Online reviews are mixed, but personally I think it's pretty good. It's nice to have a garden in Northeast China that imitates the style of a Jiangnan garden to stroll around in. The only drawbacks are that the details are a bit rough, and because there's a lot of water in the garden, it might not be suitable for children. But it's still a nice place for adults to relax and enjoy themselves.

The Red Beach is well worth a visit. The Red Beach has distinct characteristics. It is a magnificent landscape of fiery red with its unique Suaeda salsa, as if the earth is covered with a bright red carpet. The color of the Red Beach changes subtly in different seasons, and it is particularly gorgeous in autumn. It is also the habitat of many birds, and you can watch various rare birds flying and foraging. In addition, the fresh air around the Red Beach allows you to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and fully experience the charm of nature. Whether you are a photography enthusiast or an ordinary tourist, the Red Beach can bring you an unforgettable experience and visual shock.

Check out Dingxiang Reed Sea Crab Beach, a unique wetland landscape! An endless sea of reeds, rustling in the wind, creates a truly immersive atmosphere. The scenic area is quite large, with a 3-kilometer wooden boardwalk. For those traveling with elderly relatives, we recommend purchasing a sightseeing electric cart, which takes you directly to the Jianjia Viewpoint for panoramic views – a convenient and effortless experience. Along the boardwalk, there's a pond of water lilies, refreshing and elegant, and at low tide, you can see many small crabs on the mudflats. It's pristine, less crowded than the Red Beach, and offers a peaceful and comfortable experience. Both have their own unique charm, making them highly recommended for a trip to Panjin!
