Transportation:
Self-driving: locate Yanghugou. If you are afraid of mis-determining, you can add Xiaosiping Village.
Bus: From Benxi, you can take the bus to Hengren and tell the driver to get off at Yanghugou. I took the bus from Hengren back to Benxi and got off at the intersection. It was very convenient.
Route:
After arriving at the intersection, walk inward and you can walk all the way to Xiaosiping Village.
Notes:
1. Go there early and your own car can drive in. If you go late, there will be traffic jams and you can only park on the roadside or in the yard of a farmer's house.
2. This is a free attraction. In fact, it is the red leaves on the side of the village road, but some areas are fenced off by people. If you want to go in, you have to pay them separately. Personally, I suggest that there is no need. There are always attractions you like as you go forward.
3. There is a shuttle bus made by the villagers at the entrance of the village. It charges per person. If you can't walk, you can sit in first and then walk out. The price is between 5-10 yuan. It's only 4 kilometers from the village entrance to Xiao Siping.
4. There are some farmhouses in the village. The bosses are good people from the Northeast. It's no problem to have a meal and leave your gifts there.
5. Because it is not a developed scenic spot, you must pay attention to safety when you go down to the ditch. Although the scenery is beautiful, safety comes first.
6. You must choose a sunny day to come, so that you can get more photos. Unfortunately, I encountered a rainy day.
7. As for which one is better here, Laobiangou, or Dashihu, I can only say that this side is more cost-effective because it is free.
8. Benxi's red page is only these few days. If you decide to come, act quickly.
