Douro Valley
Douro Valley is located in northern Portugal and is a natural and cultural landscape region famous for its winding river, terraced vineyards, and mountainous rural scenery. The Douro River flows from Spain into northeastern Portugal, traveling west through rolling valleys and passing through Porto before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean. The hillsides on both banks are mostly made of slate. Locals have built stone walls and terraces along the slopes to plant grapes, creating a distinctly layered pastoral landscape. A must must must experience. Absolutely stunning valley that gives you true European feel. We had 2 winery experiences with wine tastings in each and lunch also at one. It was the best experience we had. very unique and got to learn so much about wine making and wine. And then the cruise along the duroro river. such a serene loevley experience. we did this whole tour with CM tours that we booked with Get your guide. smoothly done. recommend booking this via get your guide. definitely do this, you will not regret it.

Visiting this family-owned vineyard was an absolutely fantastic experience! The estate is vast and beautifully overlooking the hills of the Douro Valley, one of Portugal’s most breathtaking wine regions. The tour gave us a glimpse into the history and craft of winemaking, and of course, the highlight was tasting their exceptional dessert wines. Rich, complex, and unforgettable — highly recommend it for any wine lovers!
