It is a famous water town north of the Yangtze and an ancient canal city. The ancient city was demolished in the 1938 Battle of Taierzhuang. The old city seen today is a reconstruction, with many scenic spots reconstructed on their original sites. However, the city still retains many remnants of its history as a battlefield. Taierzhuang incorporates eight different architectural styles so that visitors can experience both the style of southern Shandong and the folk customs of north Jiangsu. You can't go wrong by taking a stroll among the quiet lanes, catching boat rides on the Grand Canal, or watching an exciting folk performance.Zaozhuang · 32.6 km from Pizhou

The Ginkgo Time Tunnel is about 3 kilometers long. The ginkgo trees on both sides of the road are lush and leafy, and the canopies intersect like a tunnel, which can be viewed all year round. Especially every autumn and winter, the tunnel is gorgeous and golden, and the ground is covered with fallen leaves. Many photographers come to take pictures with long guns and short cannons. The best viewing time for the Ginkgo Time Tunnel is in early and mid-November. The viewing point is at the north and south ends of the road or in the middle. The Tsingtao Beer Museum is located at No. 56 Dengzhou Road, the birthplace of Tsingtao beer. This century-old factory, housed in a 1903 German-style industrial complex, witnesses China's beer industry journey from its infancy to prominence. As China's first beer-themed model for industrial heritage revitalization, the museum transforms weathered red-brick workshops into immersive spaces using precious early equipment like old motors, mash kettles, and boiling kettles. Visitors walking through the century-old memory corridor can touch over 30,000 artifacts from the German occupation era while overlooking the smart production lines of the "lighthouse factory" through glass walls. Through the dialogue between traditional wooden fermentation tanks and fully automated filling equipment, they decode the evolution of Chinese manufacturing from artisanal heritage to digital transformation. With the innovative concept of "living heritage + technological empowerment," the museum breaks free from the static display constraints of industrial sites. The VR brewing lab allows visitors to become brewers adjusting malt ratios, while the hop recognition system decodes the scientific secrets behind beer flavors. Personalized beer label printing customizes brews, turning taste into portable urban memories. This cultural landmark, bearing Qingdao's industrial DNA, not only showcases its benchmark value in cultural-tourism integration through honors like "national first-class museum" and "China's top 10 cultural heritage tourism cases," but also injects more sustainable vitality into the century-old factory by being selected as a "national cultural industry demonstration base." It continues to brew the city's cultural richness from industrial heritage amid the tides of time.China · Qingdao

"In March when flowers bloom, head to Yangzhou." When visiting Yangzhou in spring, a trip to Slender West Lake is a must. This narrow stretch of waterway offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. Stroll along the banks to admire scenic views, explore historic pavilions adorned with classical poetry and paintings, or cruise the lake by boat to experience the leisurely pleasure Emperor Qianlong once enjoyed during his royal visits. The attraction is quite expansive, stretching from the Great Rainbow Bridge in the southeast all the way north along the lake to Guanyin Mountain, passing dozens of attractions along the way. There are four main entrances (east, south, west, and north), with most visitors starting their tour at the south entrance on Great Rainbow Bridge Road. This renowned lakeside garden boasts breathtaking natural views. In spring, the area is shaded by lush willows and adorned with camellias, pomegranates, azaleas, and peach blossoms, attracting visitors from across the country to enjoy the seasonal blooms. For centuries, countless literati have lingered here, composing poetry and creating paintings that left behind numerous artistic treasures and stories. The site also features many landscape structures ingeniously designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings. The Five Pavilion Bridge in Shugang Slender West Lake Scenic Area is the iconic attraction with over 200 years of history. Featuring five wind pavilions atop, each of the bridge's fifteen arches cradles a moon during full moon nights. Another renowned attraction is the Twenty-Four Bridge, inspired by Du Mu's poetic line "Where is the jade-like beauty teaching flute-playing on the moonlit Twenty-Four Bridge?" While the original bridge no longer exists, visitors can admire its reconstructed version today. This was also a stop during Emperor Qianlong's southern tours in the Qing Dynasty. Architectural views like the Great Rainbow Bridge, Slender West Lake Scenic Area's Fishing Terrace, White Pagoda, and the Twenty-Four Bridges' Xichun Platform all bear inseparable historical anecdotes connected to Emperor Qianlong. During summer nights, the illuminated pavilions and moonlit reflections on the lake create a magical atmosphere. The nightlife experience here is entirely boat-based, offering a relaxing way to beat the summer heat while enjoying gentle lake breezes.China · Yangzhou

Baotu Spring is located in the bustling downtown area of Jinan, bordered by Qianfo Mountain to the south, Daming Lake attraction to the north, and connected to Quancheng Square to the east. This spring-themed garden is renowned as the "No. 1 spring under heaven" and ranks first among Jinan's "72 famous springs," with a history spanning over 2,000 years. It has also frequently appeared in literary works, most notably in Lao She's "Baotu Spring." Visitors come here to witness the spectacular sight of the three gushing springs. The main spring serves as the park's centerpiece, with its crystal-clear water gushing in three separate jets day and night, reaching several feet high during peak flow. The spring is surrounded by large stone masonry and guardrails, allowing visitors to overlook the spectacular sight of the three jets from the railings. A dark green stone tablet inscribed with "No. 1 spring" stands nearby, bearing the calligraphy of Licheng's Wang Zhonglin from the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty. In the vicinity, over thirty other famous springs are scattered, including Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Xibo Spring, Liuxu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Dukang Spring, and Bailong Spring. July and August, when local rainfall is abundant, make for the best season to observe these springs. In the height of summer, visitors can get up close with the springs in the park. Some springs have no railings around them, with stone paths in the pools where water flows over. Visitors can step into the pools to interact with the water, walking on the stone paths where their feet will get wet from the cool spring water. Besides water interaction, there are free drinking springs available for visitors by the pools. On the east side of the springs stands the Wangheting teahouse, specially catering to visitors. This springFragrant tea brewed with water at a moderate price. In addition to the springs, another highlight of the park is its magnificent south gate, adorned with grandeur and elegance. The horizontal plaque above the gate, inscribed with "Baotu Spring" in golden characters on a blue background, bears the imperial handwriting of Emperor Qianlong from the Qing Dynasty. It is acclaimed as the "first gate" of Chinese classical gardens. In previous years, seasonal water stoppages frequently occurred here, but through recent conservation efforts, normal water levels have been largely restored. Additionally, the attraction regularly hosts various cultural events. Every year on the first day of the lunar new year, a lantern festival is held for 20 days. In late September, there's a spring water culture festival lasting about 10 days, featuring folk activities, calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and traditional opera performances for visitors to enjoy. From late October to late November, a chrysanthemum exhibition takes place where the golden fall scenery of gushing springs and blooming chrysanthemums creates a spectacular sight well worth seeing. In addition, the attraction has launched a cruise route. After visiting the attraction, interested visitors can board the cruise at the dock, passing through the west gate bridge in Jinan's old town, the east gate of Wulongtan Park, and entering Wulongtan Lock, Jinan's first passenger ship lock in history, where they can experience a drop of over 2 m. Sitting on the east side of the boat, visitors can also see the relief of "Jinan's eight scenic views". The riverbanks along the route are lined with aquatic plants, and the water is crystal clear. The cruise finally passes through Yanbo Bridge and enters the Daming Lake attraction.China · Jinan

Aishan Scenic Area is like a bright pearl hidden in Zaozhuang, Shandong. When you first arrive here, you will be attracted by its unique natural scenery. Driving to the scenic area, the road is shaded by trees and the scenery is pleasant. After arriving, climb up the winding mountain road and find that the strangely shaped rocks are scattered on both sides of the road, like the magic of nature. Climbing to the top of the mountain, looking far away, the surrounding mountains are rolling and shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland. The strange stones in Aishan Scenic Area are one of its major features. They are like ancient beasts crouching or immortals playing chess, with various shapes and lifelike. The most spectacular one is the "Stone Forest Maze". Being in it, it seems to have entered a fantasy world of stone. Walking in the scenic area, the ancient trees are towering, and the birdsong in the forest is endless, adding a bit of tranquility and mystery. In a quiet valley, a hidden underground canyon was also discovered. The stalactites in the canyon were upside down, and the streams were gurgling, forming a natural underground painting. Aishan not only has natural wonders, but also rich cultural landscapes. Longshun Temple, Dasheng Temple and other ancient monuments carry a heavy historical and cultural heritage for tourists to explore and feel. The teahouse on the mountainside is also unique. Tasting local special snacks and feeling the mountain tea rhyme are leisurely and comfortable. The only slight shortcoming is that the facilities in some areas of the scenic area are slightly old, the signs are not clear enough, the scale of the tourist service center is small, and the services provided are limited. But overall, Aishan Scenic Area, with its unique natural landscape and profound cultural heritage, has brought me an unforgettable visual feast and spiritual journey.

This town is located east of Xuzhou and is currently undergoing expansion. There aren't many tourists, probably because there's an entrance fee. It's okay to stop by for a quick visit, but not worth making a special trip for.

The ancient city is very charming. Although it is newly built, it still bears the marks of history. I stayed for two nights and saw the ancient city under the sun and in the rain and mist. I loved it. There are many snacks inside, and it's a great place to take photos. It's definitely worth a visit.

The Time Tunnel, located in the suburbs of Pizhou, is a scenic spot formed by ginkgo trees in the golden autumn season. There is a small service area here, which is basically only open in autumn. The scenic area provides camping tents, catering and related facilities. In the golden autumn season, the place is golden and the ginkgo trees are arranged like a dreamy time tunnel. However, have you ever seen the time tunnel in winter? The rows of ginkgo trees, with fallen leaves all over the ground, still have a kind of withered bone beauty.

[Celebrating] Climbing Mount Tai, a journey through all four seasons! ⛰️ Initially sunny, then a sudden downpour, heavy rain covering the mountain, thick fog shrouding the peaks. On the way down, I was surprised to find a clear sky and a sea of clouds surging. All the twists and turns transformed into a magnificent vista before my eyes, and my heart felt instantly lighter and more open. ✨

Convenient, just scan the code to enter. It's a combined A and B hall, with a single-line design so you don't backtrack… Just follow the signs. At the end of the two halls, there's a free beer area; you can get two. The second one was replaced with hot beer tea, which was also quite nice… At the exit, there's a souvenir shop. The beer mugs were in secure packaging to prevent them from tipping over, so I searched online for the same model from the official flagship store. The mug arrived home before I even got there!

No one can help but be awestruck by the architecture and splendor of Niushou Mountain. It houses the Buddha's skull relic, a supreme Buddhist treasure. The mountain is also very accessible for the elderly; after disembarking from the sightseeing bus, an extremely long escalator leads directly to the Buddha's Palace. Every detail is worth exploring. A sacred Buddhist site, faith nourishes all things. It's recommended to start with the underground palace, which is open to the public for approximately 21 days each year.

Baotu Spring is definitely worth a visit. The park is beautiful, and aside from being very crowded, it has no other drawbacks. The three springs are quite large, though the spray isn't very high. Each pool is different, and it's quite interesting to observe closely. Some pools constantly emit small bubbles, and many pools are teeming with koi. However, due to the large number of people feeding them, the fish have become very picky eaters.
