Pilsen
Pilsenis located in the western part of the Czech Republic, on the road from Prague to Bavaria, and is the fourth-largest city in the Czech Republic. What truly makes it world-famous is beer: the Pilsner beer found all over the world today takes its name directly from this city. In 1842, local brewers here created a golden, clear, bottom-fermented lager, a style that was subsequently emulated by breweries around the world and became the model for golden lagers. The original brewery is still operating on its original site today. During a visit, you can walk through the old brewing hall and the deep underground cellars, and at the end, you can even taste a glass of unfiltered raw beer. Plzeň Zoo
Plzeň Zoo is an old zoo in the Czech Republic, founded in 1926. Located on the banks of the Radbuza River, it covers 21 hectares and houses approx. 1,300 species of animals, with a total of over 6,500 individuals.
