Postojnska Caves
Postojnska Caveswere formed by the long-term erosion of limestone strata by the underground Pivka River. After millions of years of erosion and deposition, they have gradually developed into a vast underground cave system. The entire cave system is over 20 km long, and is internally connected by numerous corridors, halls, and natural spaces, with diverse terrain and unique views. The cave is filled with karst formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, and travertine draperies. The uniquely shaped rocks display different colors and layers under the illumination of lights, creating a mysterious and spectacular underground world. The way to tour the cave is unique, providing visitors with a convenient and fun exploration experience. Predjama Castle
Predjama Castle is built into a cave and is also known as the Cave Castle or Predjama Castle. The construction of the entire castle took nearly four centuries. The left side was built in the mid-12th century, the middle section was built during the Renaissance, and the right side was completed in 1570, so you can see architectural styles from different periods here. The castle hides many natural caves and passages, which provided strong defensive capabilities at the time. Today, it is also a filming location. Saint Mark's Basilica
Saint Mark's Basilica is located in Saint Mark's Square, adjacent to the Doge's Palace. The basilica was first built in 828, and after the old church was destroyed by fire, reconstruction began in the 11th century. It was originally used to house the relics of Saint Mark and later stored various treasures brought back during the Crusades, making it an art repository with a rich collection. The church is primarily Byzantine in style, blending various architectural and decorative elements from Romanesque to Renaissance. Its facade features five Romanesque doors with diamond-shaped arches, topped with Oriental and Gothic spires, along with marble statues, reliefs, and floral motifs. The massive dome and dazzling mosaics are its most striking features. The church consists of five large domed main halls and two cloister-style vestibules, forming a giant Greek cross in its overall layout. The design of the five domes was inspired by the Church of the Holy Apostles in Constantinople, making it a highly representative Byzantine-style structure. In front of the church stand three flagpoles, symbolizing the three regions of Cyprus, Crete, and Morea that Venice controlled during its peak, bearing witness to the city's past glory. At the top center of the church stands a statue of Saint Mark holding the Gospel of Mark, with the winged lion symbolizing Saint Mark beneath it.Italy · Venice

This is the largest "typical karst" cave in Europe and the most popular tourist cave. As early as 1872, a railway line was laid in the cave, and in 1884, electricity was connected to the cave. It is currently the only cave in the world with a two-way train running deep underground.
