From Sasebo Port 25 kilometers north to Hirado, there are 208 islands, large and small, collectively known as Kujukushima. Except for 4 islands that are inhabited, the others are all uninhabited islands. Almost all areas are designated as Saikai National Park, and more than 80% of the 288.5km long coastline is a natural coastline and is well preserved. In particular, the islands off the coast of Sasebo are called the Minami Kujuku Islands, each of which has a different style, and the entire sea area is beautiful. If you take the Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort Cruise, you can cruise around the beautiful Kujukushima Island in about 50 minutes. In particular, there are many unique islands in the southern part of Kujukushima, such as Jono Island with strange peaks and undulating rocks, and Changnanfeng Island stretched with Senjiji (looks like layers of tatami) rocks, etc., not to be missed. . The view of Kujukushima Island can be seen from the land, and the most popular viewing spot is the Kanzan Peak. From here, you can see the islands dotted like a jigsaw puzzle, and the gorgeous sunset, so be sure to check it out at sunset. Changchuanshan Park is a 234-meter-high Prospect Hill. About 100,000 rhododendrons bloom on its northern slope. From April to May, it is dyed a reddish pink, like a sea of flowers, which contrasts with the blue sky and blue sea. . The azalea festival is held every year in the flowering season, and various events and food stalls are lively. Oysters are the specialty food of Kujukushima, especially the oysters of Kujukushima caught in winter, with firm flesh and rich taste. During the season from October to March, various grilled oyster shops along the coast can enjoy the deliciousness of Kujukushima oysters. At the same time, rock oysters are in season in summer from June to August, so you can eat them whether you go in summer or winter. The Kujukushima Pearl Ocean Resort is a seaside resort park located at the entrance of the Kujukushima Island. With the theme of the sea, it includes an aquarium, a cruise on the Kujukushima Island, and a sea walk by sailing and kayaking. Fun that can only be experienced in Kujukushima.Sasebo · 3.9 km from downtown

Kujukushima Aquarium has a nice name - "Sea Sparkling" (海きらら), which means like a dazzling light on the sea. This aquarium reproduces the ocean of Kujukushima as it is, and there are different surprises in each hall. The Kujukushima Bay Large Water Tank is a rare outdoor water tank in Japan that reproduces the changes in the natural environment from the sea to the coast and the marine life that lives there under the sun. There are abundant aquatic creatures swimming in the tank, about 120 species, people observe the scene in the tank along the corridor around the tank, just like walking in the ocean, the group of fish will also perform the water tornado together. Jellyfish Symphony Hall uses melodious music and phantom light to show the picture of jellyfish swimming gracefully. The jellyfish dancing gently creates a dreamlike atmosphere, making people feel relaxed all over the body, just like listening to a symphony. It is a popular exhibition place in the aquarium. There are 3 dolphins living in the dolphin paddling pool, and there are three performances every day. There is nothing more attractive than the unique performance of dolphins jumping on each other to catch the ball. The various performances challenged by the cute dolphins are also worth seeingSasebo · 3.9 km from downtown

The scenery of Kujukushima seen from here is very beautiful. Needless to say, when it is sunny, when the scenery is more beautiful, it is the moment when the sun sets and sinks into the sea. The observation deck at the height of Zhanhai Peak is ideal. The sunset shooting location is a photo spot that many photographers linger on. The beauty of Kujukushima's large and small islands is so wonderful that one can't help but be intoxicated and ecstasy. Standing on Zhanhai Peak and overlooking, building blocks-like houses are inlaid on the lush hillside. The scenery in front of you is like a beautiful postcard.Sasebo · 5.7 km from downtown

The Maritime Self-Defense Force Sasebo Historical Archives is located on the cliff side of the Kurashima shore in the Kurajima Base in Sasebo City, and you can also visit the ships of the Maritime Self-Defense Force that are not usually seen. You can even board the deck, visit the boat, and take photos freely. A part of the Sasebo Mizuhosha, which was built as a meeting place for naval officers in 1898, was restored here, and a new building on 7 floors was added. The history and activities of the Old Navy and the Maritime Self-Defense Force are explained in an easy-to-understand manner, and ship models and various historical materials are displayed.Sasebo · 698m from downtown

I came here after watching Detective Conan. It feels like a small Dutch town, very relaxed, without the crowds of TDL/S or USJ, and you don't need to rush to any attractions. It's just nice to stroll around quietly. There are many hotels here, making it suitable for overnight stays. There's a light show at night, and if you're lucky, there's even a fireworks display.

The scenery is very beautiful, similar to Qiandao Lake but different. It is a scenery you can't see in China. I took a lot of beautiful photos. I was so happy! And you can actually climb to the highest point on the boat. The wind is super strong. There is a little excitement in the beauty~ There are no activities on the boat. You can just take pictures of the scenery by yourself. The two boats run once an hour. If you want to experience it, please pay attention to the time! The Japanese service staff are super polite. They greeted and bowed when they got on the boat, and they kept waving on the shore when the boat left the port.

There is a scenic area called Kujiu Island in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Ninety-nine Island is actually located in the waters about 25 kilometers outside the port of Sasebo in Nagasaki. There are 208 islands, large and small, of which only four are inhabited, while the others are uninhabited islands. The best way to see Ninety-Nine Island is to look at the observation deck on the mountain. Unfortunately, it was overcast and the scenery was compromised. The other way to visit the island is to take a sightseeing boat, but when I arrived it was the February off-season, no boat, unfortunately.

We had a wonderful day at the zoo and aquarium! The zoo isn't very big, but the animals seem happy. The aquarium is impressive, especially the jellyfish dome. The only downside is that the turtles seem a bit cramped...

There are more than 240 islands of various sizes around Sasebo City, but for the sake of image, they are named Kujuku Islands, which feels like the Thousand Islands Lake in Hangzhou. The best place to view these islands is Zhanhai Peak. You can take a look at the appearance of Kujuku Islands at Zhanhai Peak.

Kujukushima Zoological and Botanical Garden Mori Kira is a zoological and botanical garden located on a hill overlooking Kujukushima. Some 64 species (230 items) are on display, including giraffes, beavers and lions, which are very popular with children. The Penguin Pavilion has Japan's largest ceiling aquarium and Japan's first ultra-shallow aquarium. In addition, Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort is a seaside resort where you can fully enjoy the nature of Kujukushima. Take the sightseeing ships "Kujukushima Sightseeing Ship Pearl Queen" and "Kujukushima Pirate Sightseeing Ship Mirai" to see the Kujukushima Islands up close.

I walked there from Sasebo Station. There is a US naval facility nearby, so you can feel that it is a military port. Not far from the US military facility is the Sail Tower. Admission is free, and the history from the end of the Edo period to the Self-Defense Forces is introduced with a large amount of materials. Personally, the materials from the Showa period before the Pacific War were very valuable and made the situation at that time feel more realistic. There is a souvenir corner on the first floor, where navy curry and other items are sold.
