Putra Mosque

Putra Mosque is also known as the "Floating Mosque" because about three-quarters of the building extends over Putrajaya Lake. The exterior is predominantly pink, constructed largely from rose-colored granite, and features nine domes. Construction began in 1997, and it can accommodate over 10,000 worshippers at once, making it one of the most recognizable landmarks in Putrajaya. The mosque consists mainly of three parts: the prayer hall, the courtyard, and the learning and functional spaces. The roof of the prayer hall resembles an open umbrella, composed of 49 domes of varying sizes arranged in a radial pattern, with a design inspired by Islamic architectural traditions. The minaret next to the mosque is tall and slender, with a rocket-shaped spire, and is equipped with elevators and stairs to reach the top. The entire mosque is designed to take full advantage of natural ventilation from the lake, with lake breezes passing through the corridors and vertical grilles to keep the interior cool. Viewed from the opposite shore, the pink domes and their reflection in the lake create a picturesque scene.Putrajaya · 13.9 km from Sepang

Prime Minister's Office is situated on a hill in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia, and is the government building where the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia work, known locally as "Perdana Putra". The building was completed and opened in 1999. It blends various architectural styles, including Malay, Islamic, and Palladian, with columns that carry a hint of Mughal flair, and Eastern and exotic elements coexist on the same facade, which is quite fascinating upon closer inspection. The building commands a view from above, facing the expansive Putrajaya Square, with Putrajaya Lake just beyond it. Looking back from the center of the square, the dome and colonnade can be captured in a single frame, making it a classic photo spot.Putrajaya · 14 km from Sepang

Putrajaya is the new administrative capital of Malaysia, covering an area of 4,932 hectares and located just 25 km from Kuala Lumpur. It is a pioneer of Malaysia's future cities. It is planned to be developed as Malaysia's intelligent garden city. Once fully completed, it will become a 21st-century city with advanced infrastructure and high-tech amenities. This efficient and modern world does not diminish the essence of Malaysia's traditional heritage, as at least one-third of the area still retains lush natural scenery, including parks, lakes, and wetlands, which are Malaysia's precious green heritage treasures. The center of Putrajaya is the massive Putra Square. The patterns, colors, and style of the square's paving harmonize with the surrounding architecture. The Pink Mosque in Malaysia 🕌, as its name suggests, is entirely pink. The inner courtyard is very large, and it's said to be a popular place for worshippers. There are several great spots for taking photos and checking in. 📸

Putrajaya's main lake, you can take a boat to enjoy the lake view. It costs 25 ringgits for the whole day, or you can pay according to the dock, which varies from 2 to 4 ringgits per dock. I went there late and didn't experience it. I thought there was a night shift but it didn't. Starting from Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, stroll along the lakeside past the Millennium Monument and the Vision Bridge, you can see the Pink Mosque.

The price was a bit high, but the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was no refund or cancellation policy. Because the driver deliberately led us on a wrong route, we were delayed and couldn't reach the top for the view. The children were very disappointed, and the driver refused to compensate us. We had to buy new tickets ourselves and visit the next day.

The place is beautiful and artistic, and if you snap a picture it looks like you're overseas. The appearance of this area is indeed similar to Morocco because experts from Morocco were specially imported to develop this area.
