The Keller Fortress, built in the 6th century, stands tall on the left bank of the Vardar River, and you can overlook the city from standing on it. On weekdays, it is a good place for locals to enjoy the scenery and have a picnic, but on St. George's Day on May 6 every year, the Gipsy will come here to sing and dance in festive costumes to celebrate the arrival of spring.Centar · 3.7 km from downtown

Skopje Old Market, located in the heart of the North Macedonian capital, is one of the oldest and most historically significant areas in the country. Its streets are paved with cobblestones polished smooth by time, dotted with old Ottoman-style buildings, and home to handicraft workshops, charming restaurants, and traditional shops—every corner exudes the warmth and character of centuries past.

Keller Fortress is a very solid ancient castle on the seaside of Skopje. It has a history of nearly 800 years and still looks very solid. It is located on high ground and overlooks the surrounding harbor. It is now Skopje’s most famous tourist destination and landmark building, and it is worth a visit.

Macedonia Square is the heart of Skopje, a place with a lot of history and activity. The square is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and a casino, making it a good spot to stroll around and enjoy the city. The main attraction is the imposing equestrian statue in the center, clearly inspired by Alexander the Great (although they don't officially say so). The architecture mixes modern with neoclassical, giving it a unique feel, although some structures can seem a bit excessive. It's a good place for photos and to feel the energy of Skopje, but it's not a must if you're looking for authenticity.

i didnt actually visit the millenium cross but took a bus number 25 up there which is a very scenic and enjoyable ride. The reason is because when there is a storm they stop cable car activities, so check your weather b4 going up!

An interesting visit if you're in Skopje. There are various objects, letters, and photographs. It's in the house where she was born. There's no admission fee, and overall it's a nice stop.
