Things to do in Wencheng

The scenic area is very well planned. Taking the elevator at the North Gate saves you from climbing 1,000 steps down. Then, take the elevator down to the 1st Cascade and climb another 500 steps down while enjoying the beautiful waterfall scenery. From the 1st Cascade to the 2nd Cascade Water Curtain Cave, climb another 300 steps down and receive a raincoat. From the 2nd Cascade to the 3rd Cascade, climb another 500 steps down. Finally, from the 3rd Cascade to the South Gate, climb another 300 steps down until you can take the shuttle bus back to the North Gate parking lot.

刘伯温故里景区，位于浙江省温州市文成县，是国家级5A景区。这里是明朝开国元勋刘基（字伯温）的故乡，以他的谥号“文成”为县名。景区总面积4.81平方公里，由刘基庙和百丈漈两大核心景区构成，集自然风光与人文历史于一体。景点： 刘基庙：纪念刘基的祠庙，浙南现存最具研究价值的明代木构建筑群。百丈漈：总落差353米，单体落差207米，被誉为“中国单体落差最高的瀑布”。七星武阳：武阳村，拥有始建于元明时期的“武阳堂”“云来门”“刘基故居”“武阳书院”等。安福寺：始建于唐宪宗元和三年（公元808年），曾为皇家寺院。问道刘基馆：廉政文化教育平台，展示刘基生平事迹和文学作品。

This was my second visit to Tongling Mountain, and the scenery was as beautiful as ever. Its biggest feature is its waterscape, which is crystal clear and the potholes are particularly unique! However, I must complain about the current tour route. The newly opened walking trail has moved south, significantly increasing the number of steps and taking us further away from the core scenic area. At my leisurely pace, it took me 65 minutes to walk from the ticket gate to the 21-degree viewing platform, during which time there were no particularly noteworthy views. The original wooden boardwalk was much more practical, shorter, and led directly to the core scenic area. My suggestion to the scenic area is to consider making the current exit the entrance, allowing visitors to easily explore from top to bottom, and then take a bus back to the visitor center from the south gate, or to build a new sightseeing cable car at the south gate. If the tour route is optimized, I believe this scenic area will attract a large number of tourists. Personally, I think Tongling Mountain's scenic elements and overall effect are superior to Wencheng's other top attraction, Baizhangji. Looking forward to a third visit after optimization!

Very convenient, preferential ticket prices, no need to go to the ticket office to go through any formalities, just scan the code to enter the park, fast pass! The scenic spot is also very good, there are so few people on the first day of the National Day holiday, the scenery is beautiful, and the experience is really great!

The entire temple has a quiet environment, magnificent regulations, simple style and solemn artistic conception. Both the design style and architectural construction are extremely "imperial" style. It can be said to be a culmination of Ming and Qing architectural technology and art. What is even more rare is that the Liu Ji Temple has been basically preserved intact to this day. It is the most research-worthy Ming Dynasty wooden structure complex in southern Zhejiang and is listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in my country.

My second visit to West Lake was great; the boat tour was excellent. The dock was easy to find, the staff were very friendly, provided clear explanations, and helped with any issues. There were also sightseeing buses, which were nice but a bit pricey. Taking the boat tour and then walking around was both perfectly fine.

Anfu Temple of Tiansheng Mountain is built on the mountainside, with an elegant environment. It originally had a mountain gate, Vajra Hall, Mahavira Hall, Square Hall, monks' quarters and dozens of rooms. It has experienced several ups and downs in history. It was originally a holy place for Buddhist pilgrimage and a treasure place for Zen meditation and health preservation. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, noble scholars and celebrities also liked to gather here, chanting and writing poems that were widely praised. The surrounding scenery of Anfu Temple is beautiful. It is adjacent to the most famous tourist attraction "Baizhang Waterfall" in Wencheng County to the east, the largest freshwater lake "Feiyun Lake" in southern Zhejiang to the south, the national forest park "Tongling Mountain" to the west, and the national scenic spot "Liu Ji's Hometown" to the north. The geographical location is unique.
