After taking a van from the scenic area to the middle, you need to hike up the mountain, which is very physically demanding. The weather is bad and the scenery you see on the mountain is also gray, so just treat it as exercise.

went up here snowboarding and it was nice. enjoyed it more than taiziling. snow was good and not much of a crowd. also, for those renting clothes and gear I recommend 逐雪CHASING.S in town. they have nice service, a good selection, and better looking clothes
