Mahuangqiu Grand Canyon
Mahuangqiu Grand Canyon is located in Chenzhou, Hunan, hidden among the Danxia mountains not far from the city center. A simple little village, the villagers are very nice and enthusiastic to introduce the attractions. You can take beautiful photos here if you choose the right angle. It will be better if you have a drone, but unfortunately my photography skills are average. The spring water is cool and sweet.

The pass is great, including the shuttle bus and bamboo raft ride. The scenery from the bamboo raft is especially beautiful and definitely worth the trip. I visited on the 5th day of the National Day holiday, and the crowds were much smaller. The process of taking the bamboo raft first and then the shuttle bus was smooth, making immigration a very pleasant experience – traveling off-peak!

The attraction is a bit small, but very unique. The bamboo rafts weave through the Danxia mountains, giving you a feeling of effortlessly navigating through countless peaks!
On October 5th, we arrived at 8:30 am and didn't have to queue.

The scenery here is beautiful and worth visiting. However, the route instructions in the itinerary are not detailed enough, making it inconvenient for independent travelers with cars. I especially suggest adding benches for tourists to rest and wait at the area where you can watch the fishermen cast their nets.

Mahuangqiu is easy to climb, the scenery is beautiful, and it's completely free! Go early and bring an umbrella, you can easily enjoy the scenery of the sky and mountains. It will be more convenient to drive yourself. If you are tired of climbing, you can go to the nearby Longweiping to take a bamboo raft (20 per person, the master adds another 20, but unfortunately you can't slide by yourself) to relax. Enjoy two attractions in the morning

Driving from Changsha to Chenzhou, the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway passes through the Leiyang Cai Lun Bamboo Sea Scenic Area. I found it quickly after getting off the expressway! It's free for seniors over 65 and children. There are not many people in the scenic area, so I bought a ticket for 30 yuan and drove up the mountain. There were bamboo forests along the way. When I came to the viewing platform, I was shocked by the scene in front of me! I will be on the top of the mountain and see all the small mountains. It's worth the trip! The mountain breeze is blowing in the hot summer, and I really linger! The prices in the scenic area are also conscience! Although it's very sunny, it's worth it! I hope more people can know about this place! It's worth recommending!

During my trip to Hunan, I visited the Gaoyiling Scenic Area, where Stonehenge is one of the attractions. Entering the scenic area from the west gate seemed to bring me closer to Stonehenge. From a distance, Stonehenge looks similar to the one in England, also consisting of large, stacked stones. These stones are formed from weathered natural red sandstone, with varying shapes and arranged in a harmonious manner; some stand upright like pillars, while others are stacked to form gates, the tallest reaching about 15 meters.
