This is the famous The Qiao Family Courtyard. This is a residential complex from the Ming and Qing dynasties, its architecture resembling a castle, imposing and grand, typical of the living style of a large northern family during the Ming and Qing periods. Viewed from above, the entire courtyard layout resembles the Chinese character "囍" (double happiness), symbolizing good fortune. The complex is meticulously laid out yet also varied; even the more than 140 chimneys on the rooftops are unique. The brick carvings at the land god shrine are also noteworthy. Under the eaves of every room in the Qiao family courtyard, you'll find genuine gold-painted decorations, notably created using the raised paste technique with meticulous layering and final gold application. Millennium City Park is located by the Longting Lake in Kaifeng, a large-scale historical and cultural theme park that faithfully recreates the Northern Song Dynasty's capital based on the famous painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" by artist Zhang Zeduan, following the original layout at a 1:1 scale. Fuyun Pavilion towers above all other structures with its crimson facade and golden-roofed eaves, offering panoramic garden views. The reconstructed Shangshan Gate mirrors Kaifeng's Northern Song dynasty city gates, standing majestic with resplendent paintings as the garden's most imposing structure. Waterside pavilions like Shuixin Xie, Double Pavilion Bridge, and Nine Dragons Bridge dot the emerald waters in picturesque harmony. The daytime highlight is the scattered live performances throughout the park: "Judge Bao inspecting the Bian River grain transport" unfolds on the water by Rainbow Bridge, "Squire Wang's daughter seeking a husband" brings the embroidered ball tossing matchmaking to the streets, and "Yue Fei unhorsing Prince Xiao Liang" stirs up dust with galloping hooves in the drill ground. Street-side workshops showcase folk crafts like Bian embroidery, Zhuxian Town woodblock prints, official kiln porcelain, and dough figurines, where visitors can watch artisans at work. The park takes on a different face after nightfall: red lanterns light up one after another, and the streets are ablaze with lights, making it seem like a completely different place from daytime. The large-scale water show "Northern Song Dynasty: Splendid Dreams of Dongjing" is performed on Jinglong Lake. The entire show is connected by eight classic Song Dynasty poems and a scroll of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," transporting the audience back to Dongjing of the Northern Song Dynasty a thousand years ago. The performance lasts approx. 70 minutes, and many travelers specifically reserve their itinerary for the evening to wait for this show. After the performance, you might as well climb the Shangshan Gate tower to overlook the park scenery and the night view of Kaifeng under the lights. Visiting the paid attractions is a must when visiting Pingyao Ancient City; otherwise, it's as if you haven't truly experienced the city.

It's a very large scenic spot, combining the beauty of gardens and temples. The trees are beautiful when you visit in autumn, but there are too many people. The statues in the Basilica of Our Lady are lifelike, and all the buildings are full of ancient charm.

It was so much fun! The performances were so entertaining, one after another, I couldn't stop watching. It's perfect for bringing parents to experience the atmosphere. There are lots of NPCs to interact with. The only downside is the park is huge, my legs were killing me!

Having come with high expectations, this was my first visit to Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City, and it was truly a rewarding and worthwhile trip. The park's layout is long and narrow from east to west, with different scenic areas arranged sequentially. Strolling through it felt like traveling through different time periods, especially with the bustling crowds of young people in cosplay, giving us a sense of being in another world. However, the enticing aromas wafting from the numerous food stalls brought us back to reality. I feel that one visit is not enough; I definitely want to go back again.

It's very worthwhile, but it's also very crowded, which might slightly detract from the overall experience. However, the people are incredibly welcoming, and there are many beautiful spots for taking photos. The food is also affordable and inexpensive, which kids enjoy. Highly recommended! This 970-year-old wooden pagoda, built entirely of wood without nails, has stood majestically for centuries, a true marvel. It's easily accessible by direct shuttle bus from Datong Ancient City and Datong South Railway Station.
