It's quite large; a visit takes about 1.5-2 hours.
The staff are very friendly and patiently explain how to get around and where the sightseeing buses are.
It's newly built, and the parking lot is quite empty. There aren't many visitors yet, and some areas look like they're still under expansion; it should be very impressive in the future.
It's filled with Taoist deities, not Buddhist temples. If you're interested, you can experience Taoist culture.
There's also Lao Tzu's cave dwelling, but I didn't see it because I arrived late and it was closed. However, I peeked through the crack in the door and it was indeed a cave.
Across Gongwai Street is Lao Tzu's Cultural Park, with a large statue; you can see it from your car.
The entire cultural atmosphere of Zhoukou is based on Lao Tzu, which is a wonderful feeling.
