长脸张少侠Brunei🇧🇳【Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque】 Masjid Omar 'Ali Saifuddien The mosque is named after the 28th Brunei Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III. It was completed in 1958 and is a representative of modern Islamic architecture. It is considered by Brunei people to be the main symbol of the country. The biggest feature of the mosque is the main dome, which is plated with pure gold and is 52 meters high. It can be seen anywhere in Bandar Seri Begawan. The main minaret combines the Renaissance and Italian architectural styles to form a unique style, which is rare in Islamic architecture in the world. There is a modern elevator in the minaret that can reach the top of the tower and have a panoramic view of the city. The interior of the mosque is mainly used for prayer, with exquisite stained glass, arches, semi-dome and marble columns. Almost all the materials come from abroad.
