Absolutely fantastic, a must-do activity! The panoramic view of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in Chongqing at night is breathtaking! The only downside was that the three of us didn't know how to get to the pier to board the boat. Because of time constraints, we were forced to pay an extra 60 yuan for directions! Actually, we later learned that the pier was right outside the first floor of Hongyadong! Don't be silly and not know this!

Ciqikou Ancient Town, originally named Baiyanchang, was founded during the Xianping reign of Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty (998-1003). It was renamed Longyin Town because Ming Dynasty Emperor Jianwen, Zhu Yunwen, once retreated in Baolun Temple within the town. The town earned the name "Ciqikou" due to its flourishing porcelain industry during the Qing Dynasty.
