Want to eat like a local? Don't miss out on these top Malmo dishes and foodie spots.

Even when I’m abroad, my passion for discovering beautiful shops never fades. This time, I spent some serious time scouring the maps and found a brunch spot called ATRIUM. As soon as I arrived in Malmö, I happily hopped on a bus and headed straight there. In the early morning, the entire shop was bathed in sunlight—a cozy space, delicious food, and gorgeous decor that you just can't stop photographing. In addition to the indoor seating, there’s a small outdoor garden. Eating breakfast out there on a clear day is pure bliss!!! I went with the Eggs Benedict to satisfy my hunger. The moment I cut into it, the yolk oozed out perfectly, paired with a hollandaise sauce that hit the right balance of tangy and savory. I loved it!! Since I’m the type who lets the "camera eat first," the staff kept popping over to chat with me while I was shooting. They seemed both puzzled to see an Asian girl there and curious why I was snapping so many professional-looking photos of my food with such a big camera 😂 With the sunshine, the food, and the unexpectedly warm Nordic hospitality, I had such a relaxing and happy morning. I guess that’s the beauty of solo travel—going wherever your heart desires, enjoying a meal you love, having a brief but pleasant chat with a stranger, and then heading to your next destination once your batteries are recharged. It was wonderful~ / 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 / ✅ ATRIUM 📍 Location: Kung Oscars väg 11, 211 42 Malmö ⏰ Opening hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 Sat–Sun 09:00–17:00

Right next to Kungsparken, the Malmö City Library is a spot I highly recommend visiting while in town. To get there, you'll first stroll through the park's lush green paths. The building itself is a striking blend of classic red brick and massive floor-to-ceiling windows. With its high ceilings and meticulously organized interior, the tranquil atmosphere truly feels like a cleansing experience for the soul. If you’re visiting Malmö, I definitely recommend adding this to your itinerary. It’s not just photogenic; the entire place is genuinely beautiful and well worth taking the time to explore at a slow pace. After your visit, you can head to the lawn outside for a picnic—it’s absolutely lovely💕 / 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 / ✅ Malmö City Library 📍 Location: Kung Oscars väg 11, 211 42 Malmö ⏰ Opening Hours: Mon–Thu 08:30–19:00 Fri 08:30–18:00 Weekend 10:00–17:00 🎟️ Admission: Free

If you’re a fan of modern art, don't forget to add the Moderna Museet to your itinerary when visiting Malmö. My favorite part is actually the building itself—the striking orange facade flows right into the indoor cafe and gift shop, creating a space that’s minimalist yet beautifully designed. After picking up your tickets, you’ll find a wall of bright yellow lockers that is just begging to be photographed. Each locker is labeled with the name of a different artist, and when you open one, there’s a hidden quote inside. It’s such a charming little detail! While the exhibition space isn't huge and can be explored in under an hour, it’s a must-visit if you appreciate art, architecture, or simply love aesthetically pleasing spaces. / 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 / ✅ Moderna Museet Malmö 📍 Location: Ola Billgrens plats 2-4, 211 29 Malmö 🎟️ Tickets: 50SEK (approx. 166 TWD)

There’s so much I love about Copenhagen that putting it all together feels like a daunting task. So, I’m starting small with Malmö, Sweden’s third-largest city, which is just a 40-minute train ride away. Malmö’s city center is quite compact, making it easy to see the whole city in a leisurely day. You’ll find a mix of 14th-century brick Gothic architecture and lush, green parks. You can wander through the Old Town and then stroll into the Malmö City Library, which is full of modern design. And of course, when in Sweden, you can’t miss out on classic Swedish meatballs. If you enjoy aimless walks and soaking up the local atmosphere, I highly recommend this quick cross-border trip. Since it’s the off-season, there are very few tourists, making the whole city feel wonderfully relaxed to explore~ I’ll share more specific Malmö attractions in future posts! yeah

This restaurant, tucked away in an old building in Gjuteriet, is like a discreet pearl. 💎 ✨Aesthetic Space: Classic Audo dining chairs, each curve perfectly executed. Colin King window candlesticks, copper-toned, curving lines of art. Abstract paintings adorning the white walls beneath high window frames. The windows are high, and when the sunlight streams in at an angle, it's breathtakingly beautiful. 🌞 🍽️Taste Experience: The chef weaves French cuisine into Nordic minimalist aesthetics. It's not a jarring mix, but a perfectly balanced dialogue. From the buttery aroma of the bread before the meal, you know you won't be disappointed. Sitting right at the southern tip of Sweden and connected to Copenhagen by the Øresund Bridge, Malmö is incredibly easy to combine with a Denmark trip. What makes it interesting is the contrast. 🏘️ Gamla Väster for cobbled streets and colourful old houses 🏙️ Turning Torso for the modern skyline 🌊 Västra Hamnen for waterfront walks 🏰 Malmö Castle for a dose of history ☕ Lilla Torg for cafés and atmosphere 🏖️ Ribersborg Beach for open views across the water One minute the city feels historic and relaxed, the next it feels modern and very Scandinavian. And because Malmö is compact, you can see a surprising amount in a short stay without spending the whole day travelling across the city. 💡 Travel tip: If you’re already visiting Copenhagen, Malmö makes an easy add-on. The revolving building is actually just a check-in point. You can't go inside, so there's no need to go there on purpose. I just walked here while wandering aimlessly. In fact, this building is really tall and you can see it when you come out of the station.
独旅独游Nyhavn, Denmark is a landmark attraction in Copenhagen. It is an artificial canal built between 1669 and 1673. The canal is lined with colorful townhouses from the 17th and 18th centuries, which are rich in color and form a unique landscape. Andersen once lived here and created many classic fairy tales, adding cultural heritage to it. You can stroll and take a boat tour here to experience the rich Nordic style and cozy atmosphere.
s正正好Malmöhus is an ancient European city. The Malmöhus Castle here has a history of more than 800 years. It is an ancient European noble castle. The whole castle is very beautiful. Now it is a museum displaying the luxurious life scenes of the nobles at that time. It is worth visiting.
乖小咪Stunning gardens and flowers. Beautiful scenery. Amongst rides good choice of food. Able to leave and return providing wrist is stamped. Not too long queues. Open till 10pm as Tiivoli lights up.
SMILES of TravelOn the way to see the Little Mermaid, I happened to catch the changing of guards at the gate of Amalienborg. Since we couldn't enter, we just watched the changing of guards for a while. The soldiers marched in unison, and the unique ceremony looked quite interesting, attracting many tourists to stop and watch.
shirleywangsjThe Øresundsbron Bridge is a combined railway and highway bridge across Sweden and Denmark. The bridge is about 8 kilometers from the Swedish coast to the artificial island in the middle of the strait. It was opened to traffic on July 1, 2000. Now there are many windmills beside the bridge, with modern scenery.
sculptorNot many people come to this city to travel, so even the square seems quite deserted. Moreover, this square feels like a street park. There are no iconic buildings and it feels average.
