Unique Experience - Bohai Ferry Yantai to Dalian

Unique Experience - Bohai Ferry Yantai to Dalian

Bohai Ferry operates several routes between Shandong and Liaoning. This time, I took the Yantai to Dalian route, which is one of the most popular routes. After arriving in Dalian, the ferry company arranged a bus to take us directly to the train station, where we could seamlessly transfer to the high-speed train 🚄. It was really convenient! The most important thing ✅ is, of course, the scenery along the way. The ferry has a tonnage of over 20,000 tons, and the sea conditions in the Bohai Sea are relatively good, so there was almost no bumpiness, making the experience even better. In winter, you can enjoy the scenery, but the wind on the deck is quite cold. In summer, there is a barbecue 🍖 on the deck, so it's worth experiencing in summer if you have the chance. The Yantai to Dalian route usually takes about 7 hours. There are overnight ferries, as well as ferries that depart in the morning and arrive in the evening, so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset 🌅🌇. The schedule is quite reasonable~

Checking in at Daheishan Island

Checking in at Daheishan Island

Daheishan Island, located more than 50 kilometers southeast of Zhuanghe city center in Daheishi Town, attracts numerous tourists with its unique natural scenery and abundant marine resources. Not only does it have the stone mountains that rise abruptly from the top of the hill, resembling a giant dragon lying on the vast coast of Bohai Bay, but it also boasts the Heishi Reef scenic area known as the natural oxygen bar, as well as the largest island scenic area in the Dalian region. The beautiful scenery of Daheishan Island is all in sight, with green mountains and clear waters, and the landscape here is uniquely charming. In the summer of Dalian, the sea is picturesque, and the mountains are lush green, representing the most beautiful scenery of Dalian's summer. Here, you can experience the marvelous craftsmanship of nature, and the scenery on the top of the mountain makes you exclaim involuntarily. The seawater around Daheishan Island is so pure that it resembles a pool of crystal, untainted by any speck of dust, as if it could penetrate one's soul. Standing on the deck and looking into the distance, it perfectly meets the blue sky, merging water and heaven into one, facing this sacred blue, it's like facing Zen, like approaching Prajna. Here, you can pursue a dreamlike world, feel the baptism of the sea, wash away the mundanity of life, and feel as if reborn.

Yantai: A Coastal Stroll

Yantai: A Coastal Stroll

Yantai is a beautiful coastal city where blue skies and white clouds are the norm. Living by the sea and taking strolls along the shore is a daily routine. Despite this, I still appreciate its beauty and tranquility. Life in Yantai is truly wonderful. Yantai has a long coastline, making it impossible to walk the entire length. However, choosing a section for a leisurely walk is a great experience. Even along the coast, the scenery varies. The Development Zone's seaside has been popular in recent years. In addition to the large "Lonely Whale" sculpture, a popular check-in spot, the newly built Time Tower is also a great place to visit. The sea near the Yantai Zhifu District offers different views, with graceful seagulls, the No. 1 Bathing Beach, and Yantai Mountain. Its central location makes it a top choice for locals to relax. The Fisherman's Wharf in Laishan District is another popular spot, home to the No. 2 Bathing Beach, European-style architecture, and the Yudaishan Hot Spring. It's a photographer's paradise, attracting both locals and tourists to its shores. Not far offshore, the Genghai No. 1 deep-sea platform offers dining, accommodation, and entertainment, making it well worth a visit. Further south, the jelly-like waters off Yangma Island in Muping District are also a highlight. Yangma Island is small, and a drive around the island takes about half an hour, but the coastline is stunning. The island is famous for being where Qin Shi Huang raised horses, and the surrounding waters feature statues of flying horses and the emperor himself, making for great photo opportunities. It was once a nationally renowned check-in spot. Yantai is not a large city, but its long coastline adds to its charm. With its blend of mountains and waters, and distinct four seasons, I truly love it!

Bohai Sea

Bohai Sea

I'd like to share a set of photos I recently took during the winter when the Bohai Sea was frozen over. I boarded the CNOOC Jinzhou oil platform and captured a combination of natural landscapes with human industrial structures, hoping to give everyone a glimpse into the unique scenery of the mysterious offshore oil fields In 2024, I will continue to take more photos of energy, information, and chemical material-related industrial buildings, combined with the surrounding natural landscapes, to explore the unique relationship between humans and nature with everyone. If you have any scenes worth capturing in your area, or if you work at a related facility, feel free to provide tips or contact me~

A trip to Yantai, Shandong, where to go?

A trip to Yantai, Shandong, where to go?

0⃣Important tip! The main attractions in Yantai are all by the sea, you just need to go east along the coast to visit most of the attractions. 1⃣Yantai Art Museum: You can take a quick look, the venue is not big, but there are not many people, you can simply check in. 2⃣Binhai Square: There are many skyscrapers, there are light shows at night, and it is by the sea, very shocking, the city construction is very good. 3⃣Yantai Mountain is also very beautiful, many roads end at the sea, very beautiful. 4⃣Yangma Island is very large, but you can rent an electric car, the main view is the island cycling, the scenery is all by the sea. 5⃣You can use the APP's attraction map, all attractions appear clearly on the map, very convenient! 6⃣If you want to know where the place in the picture is, you can comment or private message me, I will reply as soon as possible. Thank you for your support!

Yantai after snow is a fairy tale world

Yantai after snow is a fairy tale world

Yantai after snow is a fairy tale world! The romance of Yantai is half sea and half snow. 💙🩵🤍 After waiting for half a month, finally another heavy snow! ❄️ Feel the Ice Age by the sea. 🧊 🚌 Route 👉🏻 Take bus 61 or 17 from east to west: (It's too cold and windy to walk or ride a bike in winter! 🤒) 🏰 Fisherman's Wharf European Gothic architecture ⛪️ is not abroad, but in Yantai! The railway leading to the sea 🛤️ is also on the boardwalk at Fisherman's Wharf. 🌊 Second Bathing Beach There are beaches and seagulls, and the coastline is long! There are few people! 🐦 🛥️ Haiyun Square There is a sailboat sculpture, and the snow is untouched, white and clean! ⛲️ Dongshan Pier The 600-meter-long pier ends with a sea-view pavilion that looks like a blooming lotus. 🪷 💣 East Fort Qing Dynasty historical relics, you can look out over the blue sea and sky, and there is a seal conservation park! I saw a baby seal that was only three days old. 🦭 (Picture 9)! 🌙 Moon Bay Statue of the Moon Elder, a holy place of love for Yantai people. 💓 🏝️ First Bathing Beach Seagulls are so dense that they cause trypophobia! There are also more people, and the beach is big! In the evening, you can see the pink sunset and sunset. 🌄 🍎 Hongkou 1920 Historical and Cultural Block Just a few meters' walk from the First Bathing Beach! The iconic apple building and Island Diary ☕️ are too cold, so I went in and sat down. The window facing the sea is so beautiful! There are also super cute apple cups. 🥰 🗼 Yantai Mountain At the end of Chaoyang Street is the Yantai Mountain Lighthouse, where you can climb the tower and look far away (the wind is strong by the sea on snowy days, so keep warm!) 🧣 🛍️ Joy City After watching the sea, eat, drink, and have fun! Wanda is just across the street. 🙋 Reverse travel, go out for a walk.

Yantai Ta Mountain

Yantai Ta Mountain - is a scenic site of Zhifu District, Yantai, in Shandong province. On the top of the mountain there is a temple dedicated to the boddhisatva Kuan Yin as well as a Taoist pagoda dedicated to the Three Pure Ones. Address: No.55 Shangkuang Nanshan, Zhifu District, Yantai , China. Once you get there you’ll see an amusement park. In order to start climbing you’ll have to pass trough the park and then a small zoo with a few monkeys and only after that you will see the stairs railing you all the way up to the ancient temple. We’ve been climbing for about 2 and half hours to reach the very top. It was hot and hard, but once we reached the top, tiredness was gone instantly! The View opening up in front of you from there is just breathtaking. #createwithtrip #travellater #china #campingglamping #summervacation #nationalpark #yantai #chinalife #chinatravel #yantai #shandong #tamountain #mountain #mountainview

Rated by National Geographic as the most beautiful island in China, this is Yantai Changdao Daheishan Island

Rated by National Geographic as the most beautiful island in China, this is Yantai Changdao Daheishan Island

An absolutely stunning island that has not been overdeveloped, with towering rocks of various shapes on the sea, every casual shot is a masterpiece. Rated by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful islands in China, this is also the setting for the TV series 'Parents' Love'. Tour Route Landing on the island → Longzhao Mountain National Geopark → Tuowei Long Beach → Folk Museum → Beizhuang Ruins → Return If you have enough time, it is recommended to stay overnight~ 1. Longzhao Mountain National Geopark Tianmen Cave A must-see spot in the scenic area! This huge natural stone cave really makes people marvel at the craftsmanship of nature, and it is also a great place to watch the sunset. Juxian Cave A cave formed by sea erosion under Longzhao Mountain, with trickling water inside, making you feel much calmer. 2. Tuowei Long Beach Winding sandy beach, clear sea water, indescribably beautiful, comparable to the glass sea of the Maldives. 3. Beizhuang Ruins A prehistoric village from 6500 years ago, with blue sky, blue sea, and green grass complementing each other, making it feel like a scene from an anime, very refreshing. Transportation: Take a boat directly to Daheishan Island from Pengchang Passenger Port, the journey takes 70 minutes, and the ticket costs 70 yuan. Currently, there are 4 boats in and out of the island every day, entering the island at 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, and 13:30, and leaving the island at 9:30, 12:00, 14:00, and 16:40. 🏡Accommodation: There are 6 administrative villages on the island, and many fishing inns~ Tips: 1️⃣ It is recommended to take the first boat in the morning, the morning sunlight is perfect for taking photos with the boat, people, and seagulls; 2️⃣ Check the weather in advance, if online ticket booking shows closed, it is likely due to weather-related cancellations; 3️⃣ After landing on the island, go directly to Longzhao Mountain Geopark. The fastest way is to take a local's car, the price is negotiable, cheaper for more people, more expensive for fewer people, but at most 10 yuan per person one way. 4️⃣ If you are not in a hurry like me, you can walk slowly. After everyone from the same boat has gone ahead, you can take photos slowly. I discovered by accident that walking behind can be surprising. But it's not always empty, the next boat will bring another crowd behind you, so manage your time accordingly. Finally, some photography tips From the entrance of Longzhao Mountain, the whole way is quite photogenic, but the core spot is called Tianmen Cave, near the exit of the scenic area. There may be many people, and you might need to queue. We went on September 1st, which is considered the off-season, but there were still about 10 people in line. If you go early, there will be staff maintaining order. When there are many people, don't take too long for photos. While waiting in line, you can scout for good angles and poses, and take continuous shots when it's your turn to ensure you get good photos. Photo time, both morning and afternoon can produce good photos, but I was lucky when I went, a beam of light just hit the Tianmen Cave spot, around 11:30 to 12:00 noon.

Penglai, more suitable for the physical constitution of Chinese babies

Penglai, more suitable for the physical constitution of Chinese babies

Take advantage of the weather not being too hot, and set off on a weekend soon. I highly recommend a weekend trip within Shandong Province for babies, focusing on a relaxing vacation, not for special forces, and not rushing to tourist spots haha~ Penglai Pavilion In mythology, the overseas fairy island 'All mirages are illusions, one is not a fairy until reaching Penglai' Penglai Pavilion is quite large, be prepared for a WeChat sports climb to the top, but it's really worth it. Inside there are ancient architectural complexes, museums, etc., very worth checking in. You can also take a sea cable car to Tianheng Mountain Scenic Area, both single and round trips are available, of course, you can also walk there. Ticket price: 100 Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea The entire scenic area is shaped like a gourd, lying on the sea, the place where the mythological Eight Immortals crossed the sea. Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea is right next to Penglai Pavilion, and taking photos in the sea area outside is really photogenic, seagulls play in the bell sounds, allowing one to calm down, and the night here is as beautiful as the day. Ticket price: 80 Three Immortals Mountain Three Immortals Mountain refers to the three mythical mountains 'Penglai, Fangzhang, Yingzhou' in ancient mythology, mainly for viewing ancient buildings. The most famous is Penglai Fairy Island, which I personally think is a very worthwhile attraction in Penglai. The buildings inside are beautifully carved and perfect for Hanfu photography, it seems there is also a Hanfu rental gallery inside, babies in need can do some homework, it's really photogenic and worth a visit
