The twin towers on the east and west sides stand tall, complementing Jiangxin Temple, showcasing unique craftsmanship. East and West Towers The twin peaks of the east and west towers stand tall and naturally formed, lush with greenery. The mountain is not high, but it is named after the thousand-year-old towers on the east and west sides. Climbing the steep stone steps, visitors can reach the top to view the towers. Each tower is accompanied by two blue stone tablets and an ancient pavilion. Visitors can discuss history and feel inspired. The east and west towers, standing on the isolated island, complement each other, creating a beautiful outline of Jiangxin Island and becoming a symbol of Wenzhou. In 1981, the east and west towers were listed as the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Wenzhou. In 1997, the east and west towers were listed as one of the world's 100 historical lighthouse relics by the International Association of Lighthouse Authorities, officially recognized as a world lighthouse heritage site. Jiangxin West Park Located in the western section of Jiangxin Island, adjacent to Dong'ou Bridge, covering an area of 587 acres. Jiangxin West Park continues the theme of Jiangxin Island as the 'Island of Poetry,' integrating natural landscapes with modern cultural and entertainment elements. From west to east, there are four tourist areas: Health and Wellness, Urban Life, Rural Scenery, and Autumn Rain in the Smoky Trees. We stayed at the wenzhou Marriott hotel during our recent visit to wenzhou. Keeping up with Marriott standards, the hotel didn't disappoint. It ticked all boxes for us. Has a very good location. A mete stroll and you are on the river side or 2 mins walk to a mall with plenty of options. The breakfast and indoor restaurants was all satisfactory. Shanxi Reservoir

Shanxi Reservoir is located in the midstream section of the main course of Feiyun River within the territory of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, consisting of the Shanxi Reservoir Project and the Zhaoshandu Water Diversion Project. It has comprehensive benefits such as water supply, power generation, irrigation, and flood control. Planning began in the 1950s, and preliminary design and geological exploration of the project started in the 1970s, but due to financial and other reasons, it had not been put into construction for over 40 years. In September 1997, it was approved by the State Council. The Shanxi Water Conservancy Hub Project was included in the third batch of new medium and large-scale construction projects by the National Development and Reform Commission. The dynamic estimate of the total investment for the project is 4.348 billion yuan, with a total construction period of 5 years. The project was completed ahead of schedule in 2000. The dam site of Shanxi Reservoir controls a catchment area of 1,529 square kilometers, accounting for 47% of the total basin area of 3,252 square kilometers. The average annual runoff at the dam site is 1.8 billion cubic meters. The total storage capacity is 1.824 billion cubic meters, with an installed capacity of 200,000 kW at the power station and an average annual power generation of 355 million kW-h over the years. The Shanxi Water Conservancy Hub Project is located in the midstream section of the main course of Feiyun River, consisting of the Shanxi Reservoir and the Zhaoshandu Water Diversion Project. It is a national key construction project and also the largest investment and most beneficial water conservancy project in the history of Wenzhou City.

If you are ready to climb to reach a breathtaking view - this place is for you 👍 Uncountable steps up the mountain lead you to a newly renovated wall (similar in style to the Great Wall). From there each new bend of the path will open a new view onto the city, mountains, cliffs and the river. This place has it all - beautiful and atmospheric temples, wide and unforgettable open views from the mountain-tops, a legend about the Black Ox, long, winding stairs and more! It took us 4 hours to walk up and come back down again (including time for gazing and photos, but with minimum rest).
