Dreamy Village - Xiayange Village

Dreamy Village - Xiayange Village

Xiayange Village, perched atop a mountain ridge, is a dreamy village where the soft evening mist and faint fog drift across the hamlet in March, so dreamy and tender. Sorry, I am many years late, but you are still delighted by my arrival. Ascending to the viewing platform, the clouds roll and unfold leisurely. Stepping onto the sloping stone path, the houses are close neighbors. A wisp of evening breeze brings a tea leaf that lands on my thin clothes. The scent of green rushes into the depths of my heart. I prefer to lie in the romance of a small village over the love for a bustling city, to have the longest romance of my life. In your embrace, to be a simple version of myself. Xiayange Village is distributed along the mountain ridge, primitive and orderly, known as the 'dreamy village on the ridge.' Coming to Xiayange Village is like arriving at the scene described by Du Mu, 'Climbing up the cold mountain along the stone path, there are homes amidst the white clouds.' The cloud-viewing platform above is the best spot to watch the clouds and mist. When the mist rises, it's like a fairyland; when it disperses, one can overlook the nineteen peaks piercing through the rocks and look down upon the great bend of the Hanfei River. Above the sky, the clouds roll and unfold; below the sky, there is the leisure of the countryside. The poetic and picturesque heavenly realm is just like this.

Looking far away, the continuous mountains, the quiet village, the green fields, the beautiful scenery is intoxicating, forming an excellent natural landscape painting. There are also attractions such as Mitsui Longtan and Eagle Beak Rock nearby. Hiking + sightseeing + photography are all great choices .

A trip to Xinchang 🤩 - Part 2

Baizhang in Xinchang is an excellent choice to escape from the busy city-life. It is best known for its lush green bamboo forests and clean mountain air. It would take you around three to  four hours drive from Shanghai depending on traffic. If you have a long weekend you should choose this place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, relax, sleep while surrounded with beautiful nature. I stayed for two nights and had the chance to do many activities such as hiking, landscape photography, BBQ and natural pool swimming which was my favourite activity as the water is fresh and crystal clear. I would not mind to come back every time I need to recharge batteries or take a break from the concrete jungle to breath such a clean air. Recommended to bring water shoes, Mosquito repellent, sunscreen and if you struggle with food, bring your own western-style food, snacks and fruits. Some days could be rainy so you might want to bring some drinks, board games or card in case you need to spend nice indoors afternoon while listening and watching the rain.  #passionpassport #holidays #exploring #china #passionpassport

Xinchang Great Buddha Temple, a peaceful place to calm your mind

Xinchang Great Buddha Temple, a peaceful place to calm your mind

People always say that when visiting Xinchang, the first stop must be the Great Buddha Temple, which has a history and culture of a thousand years. The Great Buddha Temple was founded during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, worshipping Maitreya Buddha with a golden body in a seated posture. The incense is particularly prosperous, and the pilgrims come in an endless stream. There is also a Thousand Buddha Temple with a long history, and the two temples complement each other, adding much charm to the scenic area. The Great Buddha Temple scenic area is also a home for citizens and a paradise for the masses. Along the way, the trees are lush, the peaks are hidden, the flowers are blooming, and the air is fresh, making it a great place for people to relax and rest. The Great Buddha Temple also offers free admission in March, and there are especially many devotees coming to offer their prayers. Many travel groups make it a point to visit, showcasing the pleasant scenery and providing a place for the soul to reside.

Limited to early autumn, the persimmons are red, miss it and wait for a year!

Limited to early autumn, the persimmons are red, miss it and wait for a year!

Self-driving for 3 hours, set off from Shanghai at 7 o'clock in the morning Just for the persimmon forest in Shaoxing in early autumn The persimmon forest in Jing Shan Village, Xinchang📍 is really beautiful! No tickets required, free parking! The fresh orange color with dopamine looks good no matter how you shoot Even on cloudy days, it is not inferior The mist in the distant mountains makes the scenery more fairy-like But there are really, really, really many people on weekends‼ ️ We arrived at 10 o'clock, and the parking lot inside was not allowed to enter Can only park on the road outside Then walk to the village about 7, 800 meters It's picking season recently The persimmons on the tree will only be less in the future If you want to take pictures, hurry up! Because there are too many people on weekends There is no chance to take pictures at the hottest round hole position at the door It is recommended to go up the mountain, there are a large number of persimmon trees on the top of the mountain There are also round hole positions of the same style There are relatively fewer tourists than at the entrance You can still take a lot of big shots with telephoto By the way, share a few of my favorite places to take portraits⬇️ ☕️The two persimmon trees under the good persimmon coffee 🧡Persimmon garden round frame and square frame 🍃Mountain top tea garden➕persimmon tree with the same frame background 🚶‍♀️Walking along the road, you can always find a good position‼ ️ 📷This is the first time we took a picture of a persimmon I bought a 🧺 small bamboo basket temporarily the day before Then bring a bunch of 🌼 small daisy props that have been used many times before Buy a bunch of 🧡 persimmons on the spot and put them in the bamboo basket The shooting effect is quite good I have been praised all the way
