Traveling in Mongolia with the Great Outdoors

Mongolia, a renowned destination famous for its stunning natural landscapes. Although the typical itinerary is 7 nights and 8 days, we had to shorten it to 5 nights and 7 days due to vacation constraints, making it quite a challenging schedule. Despite the physical exhaustion, it was an incredibly beautiful and enjoyable trip! I hope to visit again to see the places I missed, like Lake Khövsgöl. 1. Terelj National Park 🏞 The last stop of our trip was Terelj National Park. The lush greenery and the sight of horses freely roaming the fields created a breathtaking view. 2. Gobi Desert 🏜 Climbing up was extremely tough, but the view from the top of the Gobi Desert was unparalleled in beauty. (Beware of the fierce sandstorms!) 3. Mongolian Nights 🌠 Mongolian nights truly let you experience what it means for stars to "pour down." With no surrounding lights and exceptionally clear air, the stars were incredibly visible. I even saw more shooting stars than I ever have in my life! If you plan to visit, try to go during a new moon (when there’s no moonlight). 4. Romantic Max with the UAZ Van 🚗 The UAZ van is a popular choice for travelers in Mongolia. While it scores 100 points for romance, its comfort level is zero 🤣. We traveled in a Starex, but sitting for 3–5 hours was still tough. Be sure to bring a cushion for added comfort.

Gobi Desert

#hellohalloween 🏜️ Gobi Desert – Land of Endless Horizons 🌄🐪 Stretching across southern Mongolia and northern China, the Gobi Desert is one of the world’s largest deserts, famous for its vast landscapes, unique wildlife, and rich history along the ancient Silk Road. ✨ Why Visit • Diverse Landscapes 🌍 – From golden sand dunes to rocky canyons, grasslands, and mountains. • Camel Rides 🐫 – Experience traditional Bactrian (two-humped) camel rides across the dunes. • Flaming Cliffs 🔥 – Famous for dinosaur fossils and fiery red sunsets. • Nomadic Culture 🏕️ – Stay in a traditional Mongolian ger (yurt) and experience local hospitality. • Stargazing ✨ – With little light pollution, the desert sky is perfect for spotting the Milky Way. 💡 Tips • Best time: May–October for milder weather 🌸☀️. • Bring layers 🧥 – hot during the day, chilly at night. • Travel with a guide 🚙 – distances are long, and conditions can be tough. • Don’t miss the Khongoryn Els (Singing Dunes) – giant dunes that “sing” when the sand moves in the wind.
