Hong Kong|Kwun Tong District also offers a different City Walk.

When you mention Kwun Tong, the first impression is that it’s an industrial area, crowded streets, densely packed buildings, and old structures. But in the past year, because my child often has to go to Kwun Tong for learning, I’ve had more opportunities to explore the area and gained many new insights about Kwun Tong. Walking around the Ngau Tau Kok MTR station many times, I noticed it has changed a lot. Maybe it’s because I’ve developed a mindset to appreciate every place, so my perspective has changed. Hung To Building is a place I pass by every week. I don’t know when it started, but I feel this building has slowly gained its charm. (Probably after hearing the driver say it’s a historic restaurant while commuting! Haha! 😆) Hung To Building is a landmark Cantonese restaurant in the Kwun Tong industrial area. On the ground floor is Hung To Building Tea Restaurant, offering a variety of authentic local dishes, including dim sum, roasted meats, clay pot dishes, and more. (I personally tried the pigeon, panda custard buns, and golden tofu. 🙈 The taste was really good.) If you have time, you can stop by and try it. 😊 Around the MTR station, you can also visit Kwun Tong Promenade for a stroll, enjoy the view of Kai Tak, and watch the sunset. Usually, I hike uphill more often, but this time I tried walking along the Kwun Tong Waterfront Promenade all the way to MegaBox, which is visible to the naked eye. I didn’t expect it to be so far away. 😂 You also need to pass the Children’s Hospital to cross the road to reach MegaBox. (If you’re not wearing comfortable shoes or don’t usually walk much, I wouldn’t recommend walking. 🙈) 🌟🌟🌟 Besides the historic buildings on Hong Kong Island that everyone loves, you can also discover more unique Hong Kong flavors and historic buildings in different districts. (Even if one day they unfortunately no longer exist, you can say without regret that you’ve been there. 😊) Hung To Building Address: 1F, 39 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong Transportation to Hung To Building + Kwun Tong Promenade: Both can be reached by walking 6-10 minutes from Exit B6 of Ngau Tau Kok Station on the Kwun Tong MTR Line 🚇. #HongKong #NgauTauKok #HongKongGoodPlaces #WeekendGetaway #HongKongInDepthTour
