At the ferry port (Port Bac) of Belo sur Tsiribihina, we experienced an unprecedented river crossing adventure! Unlike ordinary modern ports, this place relies entirely on a ferry system operated by human power. If you want your car to cross the river, you must first buy a ticket and queue up. The process is like a battlefield where the first-come-first-served wins. Everything requires the coordination and judgment of the experienced driver. What’s amazing is that the entire river crossing process relies on only one wooden platform to carry several vehicles, and the way to get the vehicles on board is for the staff to manpowerfully carry wooden planks and build a ramp for the vehicles to drive on! Before boarding the ship, all passengers must get off the bus first to avoid potential risks.
