Can’t have enough of Munich!

#2024mapped Since Germans are rather known for their quality of being principled (which could mean rigid), before my departure I had imagined Munich architecture to be rather squared and buttoned up. But not at all. The city centre has vibrant colours and a lot of to my eyes kiddish design/decorations. And there were dozens of places to see just within 1km radius. So definitely a travel-friendly city I would say. Places that I enjoyed (or would suggest): 1) Marienplatz - New/old town halls and many churches are next to here and its neighbourhood 2) St Peter Church - the observatory provides one of the best high point to view the city landscape 3) Asamkirche - a small church tucked in the middle of a row of shops, but the baroque-styled interior is enough intricate to be mind-blowing 4) Munich Residenz 5) Odeonplatz 6) Viktualienmarkt 7) Deutches Museum 8) Nymphenburg Palace 9) Hofbrauhaus - a hundreds-year-old restaurant that has become a must-go for global travelers (in the city centre, free toilet is hard to find, but the toilet here can be an accessible option, coz it’s too busy for anyone to check)
