Recommended solo Shanghai travel plan🇨🇳👧🏻

Shanghai is recommended for your first solo overseas trip! This was my first trip to Shanghai and my first time traveling solo abroad, so here's my review. This time, I stayed at the Xiangyun Parent-Child Hotel. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from Shanghai Pudong International Airport! I booked the hotel through Trip.com, and they issued a discount coupon for taxi transfers with the hotel reservation! So I also booked my hotel transfer through Trip.com. It was about ¥2500 from the airport to the hotel, and meeting the driver was easy and convenient via Trip.com chat, so it's safe and recommended! The hotel was very reasonable, costing about ¥10,000 for one adult and one child for two nights and three days, including breakfast. Plus, it includes a Disney shuttle bus and airport transfer service. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the space is sure to excite the kids. There's a pool and a garden with a small playground, and the rooms are designed with a character theme. 🥳 3-Day Shanghai Plan 👇 ◾️Day 1 Arrive at the hotel in the morning, change clothes and store your luggage in your room... After that, take the subway to Nanjing's Bund. At the Bund, grab a takeout coffee at "Rui Flower Cafe & Bar" and relax on the nearby riverside terrace. 🌿 If you go around 4 PM on a Saturday, it's usually pretty quiet and you can relax. ◎ We also enjoyed shopping at POPMART and PANDORA, and had Haidilao Hot Pot for dinner. 🍲 At Haidilao, we chose the tomato soup, which is kid-friendly. 🍅 Plus, the hand-pulled noodles with a performance are a sure hit for kids! ︎ The all-you-can-eat melon buffet is also a great addition for kids. ◎ ◾️Day 2 After breakfast at the hotel, head to Disneyland. The hotel's Disney shuttle bus departs every hour on the hour. We also rented a stroller from the hotel. 👧🏻 You can rent strollers at Disney, but it's cheaper to rent one from the hotel! (One-day rentals are about ¥1000.) Shanghai Disney is quite large, and it's quite a walk to the entrance, so a stroller is a must. ◎ The Zootopia area is amazing! A must-visit! ︎ Be sure to check out the Zootopia merchandise you can only get in Shanghai! ✔️ This time, we were able to ride the attractions quite smoothly, even without the DPA. Nearly all the attractions had wait times of 5-40 minutes, and we rode Zootopia twice. ✌︎ (A Sunday in early September) From 8:30 AM to around 5:00 PM, there were 8 types of attractions, 9 rides. ◎ So, we called it a day and headed back to the hotel, where we spent the evening playing in the pool. ◾️Day 3 Since we were returning on an overnight flight, after breakfast we went shopping and had lunch at the shopping mall at Chuansha Station. We shopped at the popular tea shops CHAGEE and MINISO, then had lunch at Xiaoyang Shengjian. At Xiaoyang Shengjian, mooncakes and pan-fried xiaolongbao are a must-try! 🥟 After enjoying our time, we returned to the hotel, changed into comfortable clothes, and played with the hotel dog in the lobby. 🐶 After that, we used the airport shuttle service to head home. ✈️ Three days was a tight schedule, but we packed in a lot more than we'd anticipated and were very satisfied! ‼︎ Single-person Shanghai is affordable, safe, and highly recommended. 🇨🇳❤️ #Shanghai #AsiaTravel #Tourism #SinglePersonTravel
