The Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居, Kōkyo) is the residence of the Emperor of Japan and also serves as a peaceful retreat for citizens, featuring beautiful gardens and walking paths. The outer walking paths of the Imperial Palace are particularly popular among local office workers for jogging, and tourists love it as a tranquil and scenic spot to unwind. 🌿☘️ The expansive moats, historic stone walls, bridges, and pine trees create a picturesque view that resembles a watercolor painting. After your walk, consider heading towards the Marunouchi café street near Tokyo Station or the Kitano-maru Park for more exploration. To wrap up the day, I ended with some delicious sushi at Tokyo Station's food area. 🍣
