First stop Guizhou, took a flight directly to Guiyang after work on the afternoon of 11.27 (Yantai Airport 7:30—Longdongbao 23:55) On 11.28, the first stop was Huangguoshu, rented a car at the airport, returned it at Guiyang North Station, cost about 100 yuan, averaging 30,000 steps a day is no joke, feet hurt for the following days. After visiting Huangguoshu, took a high-speed train directly to Libo at night. On 11.29, went to Xiaoqikong on the second day. Didn’t have high expectations but it was unexpectedly beautiful, great for photos especially for girls. The whole walk wasn’t tiring, and there were shuttle buses between scenic spots. Because the first day was too tiring, gave up a hiking section in the middle. In the afternoon, took a bus directly to Zhaoxing Dong Village. Missed the sunset due to late schedule, but there was a Dong village competition when we arrived, which was a pleasant surprise. Leisurely strolled the night scene and enjoyed local food. If you don’t plan to see the terraced fields the next day, no need to get up early, just take it slow. Guizhou cuisine surprisingly suited my taste: sour soup fish, doumi train, baked pot, beef and pork, rice noodles, all delicious with no disappointments. This ended the Guizhou trip. On 11.30 afternoon, took a high-speed train directly to Yangshuo (Congjiang to Yangshuo 13:20-14:42). Rented a car at Yangshuo station, returned it at Guilin Airport, about 250 yuan for two days. Went directly to a 20 yuan check-in spot in the afternoon. It’s dry season now. After checking in, went to Qianli Jiangshan, which was very spectacular. Unfortunately, missed the sunset. After sightseeing, went straight to the hotel. Must say, off-season hotels are really great. On 12.1 morning, took a bamboo raft in Yangshuo. No need to rush for tickets at popular docks in the off-season. The scenery was nice, few people, very good experience. Bought a raft at Jima Dock for 320 yuan, definitely worth it. After the tour, drove to Shili Gallery. Mr. Zhang’s treehouse was very photogenic. Had lunch at a farmhouse, bamboo tube chicken was delicious. In the afternoon, went directly to Guilin for check-ins at Elephant Trunk Hill, Zhengyang West Street, Sun and Moon Twin Towers, etc. On 12.2, transferred in Xi’an. Didn’t notice the free accommodation at first and booked a hotel online, missed the benefit. After storing luggage at the airport (free for transfers), went directly to the Terracotta Warriors and Lishan Mountain. Biggest takeaway: must hire an official guide, there are many traps. After visiting, carpooled to the Nightless City but missed the Drum Tower because of it. Took the airport shuttle bus directly, finally took the 9:40 PM bus to the airport to pick up luggage and had the hotel pick us up. On 12.3, left for the airport at 5 AM, five days and six nights special forces check-in completed.
