I found the "Qiufu Rice Noodles" (said to be a popular online store) located in "Zhengyang Pedestrian Street - Shegong Lane". A large bowl of rice noodles cost 5 yuan. The taste was good and the price was cheap. The store was not big and there were many people eating there.

The itinerary in Guilin city is pretty much the same few places: Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Twin Towers, East and West Alleys, Jingjiang Prince's Mansion, Xiaoyao Tower, and Chuanshan Park. There are already many similar itineraries, so I won't go into detail. Just open a map; these attractions form a loop around the city. Choose any starting point that's convenient for you, rent a shared electric scooter, and walk around. You can probably see everything in half a day. [Friendly Reminder: It's convenient to book accommodation near Binjiang Road or Zhengyang Street; there are plenty of restaurants nearby.] We booked a hostel here (and highly recommend "Waiting for You in Guilin Youth Hostel"! It's small but cozy, clean, and you'll meet many interesting people. Words can't express how wonderful it was; I highly recommend it to anyone interested!) DAY 1: Due to rain, we slightly adjusted our city tour itinerary. During the heavy rain, we visited the Guilin Museum. The museum is small, with three floors displaying local customs, traditions, and history. Then we went back to Zhengyang Street for dinner. After the rain stopped, we casually strolled around some of the city's attractions. [Friendly Reminder: "Qiufu Rice Noodles" is worth checking out; it's a noodle shop recommended by locals.] DAY 2 The hostel owner is an outdoor enthusiast and tour leader. We followed in his footsteps to explore a different side of Guilin, witnessing the real Guilin landscape—emerald-green streams and misty, rain-shrouded forests. [See the pictures, everyone!] [Important Note: Why have I been saying we should try hostels? We spent both nights in Guilin chatting and having fun at a hostel. People from different industries and nationalities sat around in the small living room, sharing their stories. Time flew by in the midst of laughter and conversation. Although our time together was short, the smiles on our faces remained unchanged when we reminisced.] #EveryStepIsASceneOfColorfulLandscape #SavorTheOldFlavorsOfGuilin #AJourneyLikeASong

Who knows, folks! Guilin's mountains truly do grow, and its waters truly do glow. ✨ But the guides you've gathered after three pitfalls are the real deal! 📍Must-do essentials (don't waste time on lesser-known attractions!) 1. Yulong River Bamboo Rafting: Be sure to choose the section between Jinlong Bridge and Jiuxian County! The rafts drift leisurely, and the reflections of the mountains are breathtakingly beautiful. It's 10 times clearer than the Li River. 🥰 2. Xingping Ancient Town: 20 RMB for free background photos at the pier! Don't trust the paid check-in spots in the ancient town; they're pure idiocy. [__LINK_ICON] 3. Ten-Li Gallery: Rent an electric scooter for 20 yuan/day and explore freely. Sit in the rice fields for half an hour and relax. 😋 A must-try for foodies (a local's secret list) - Qiufu Rice Noodles: 2 taels of braised vegetable noodles and pot-roasted pork, 10 yuan, so delicious you'll lick the bowl! - Chunji Roast Goose: Crispy skin and tender meat dipped in plum sauce, you can eat two large bowls with rice. - Tanshi Duck Feet Stew: The duck feet fall off the bone with a single sip, and the broth is perfect for soaking up the noodles. ⚠️Avoiding scams - Don't trust the 98 yuan bamboo rafts on the roadside! Book through legitimate channels 3 days in advance for only 120 yuan. - Avoid the bars on West Street Main Street! Enjoy a refreshing local beer at Xianqian Street for 15 yuan. - Wenchang Bridge Pier for the Two Rivers and Four Lakes; the 19.9 yuan boat trips are a scam. Living near the East and West Alleys in the city center is super convenient, while staying across the river in Yangshuo is quieter and more affordable. After three days of walking, my feet didn't hurt and my wallet wasn't empty. The scenery truly healed my inner fatigue. 🌿 Check it out! #GuilinTravelGuide #GuilinTravel
