Longzihu Scenic Area

550 reviews
Longzihu Scenic Area is located in the eastern part of Bengbu city and is a waterfront scenic area built around a lake in the city. The expansive lake surface stretches for several km from north to south. Xuehua Mountain on the southwest bank and Caoshan on the northeast bank face each other across the water, which, together with Xilu Mountain and Zhuizishan Forest Park, form a landscape pattern of three mountains flanking one lake. The lake water sparkles, and there are boardwalks and trails along the lake, which are suitable for walking, jogging, and cycling. The boardwalk that winds into the lake even passes under the Longhu Bridge, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. The Longhu Bridge, which spans the lake, divides the water surface into roughly northern and southern sections, with Longzihu Park on the west bank being the main area for sightseeing. The Caoshan side on the northeast bank of the lake has a stronger cultural atmosphere. On the mountain, there is the Caoshan Martyrs Cemetery and the Geminglishi Exhibition Hall. At the southern foot of the mountain lies Tanghemu, the final resting place of Tang He, a founding general of the Ming Dynasty. Along the sacred path in front of the tomb stand stone statues of horses, sheep, lions, and warriors, which are simple and weathered. The scenic area is quite large; you can visit the west bank park and the boundary sculpture first, and then arrange to visit the Caoshan side. At dusk, the city skyscrapers on the opposite bank and the sunset over the lake appear in the same frame, making it a great time for photography.Bengbu · 1.6 km from downtown

And its Buddha Hall, Monk Hall, and Sutra Pavilion are all made of white rocks, so it is also commonly known as Baishi Temple. Gaixia, commonly known as Bawangcheng, is located on the south bank of the Tuohe River in Haocheng, Jinguzhen County. In 202 B.C., King Liu Bang of Han led 300,000 troops of feudal lords to pursue Xiang Yu, the overlord of Western Chu. In the Battle of Gaixia, the Chu army was killed and 20,000 captured. The Han army completely wiped out the Chu army with its absolute superiority, creating a successful example of a large-scale pursuit battle in ancient China. It was listed as one of the seven famous ancient battles in the world. It has the reputation of "Oriental Waterloo". According to the research of experts, Gaixiabawangcheng is an irregular square, and the corners of the city are built into arcs. The north of the city is close to the Tuo River (known as the Huan River in ancient times), and there are moats on the east, south and west sides of the city. The original Bawang City was actually just an earthen fortress, with a high terrain and surrounded by water on all sides. In the city, Qin bricks and Han tiles can be found everywhere. Ancient and splendid cultural landscapes such as Han Well, Han Tomb, Han Bridge, the ancient tree "Yu Bao Sang", Yu Ji's dressing table, Tie Di River of Tongbang, Han Xin Dianjiang Terrace, etc. The stories of Besieged on All Sides and Farewell My Concubine are fascinating.Guzhen · 22.3 km from downtown

I checked in Longzi Lake Scenic Area with my friends on the weekend, and the experience was great! As soon as we got there, the wide lake came into view, the lake water sparkled under the sunshine, the mountains in the distance were undulating, and the picture of mountains and waters was beautiful. Strolling along the lake, the green plants were lush, the air was full of fresh grass and wood fragrance, and there were many wild flowers that were not named blooming. The facilities in the scenic area are also very complete, with rest benches and clean trails. Whether it is a leisurely walk or a bicycle to enjoy the scenery, it is very suitable. The only drawback is that there are fewer dining options. But overall, Longzi Lake Scenic Area is really a treasure place to get close to nature and relax. I will come again next time!

It features a complete set of Ming Dynasty ritual relics, as well as natural landscapes like karst caves and canyons. It should be the largest temple in northern Anhui. It faces south and is built on the mountain with a height difference of more than 100 meters. The Wanfo Pavilion alone is more than 60 meters high. Unfortunately, it has not been completed yet. It is magnificent and the reconstruction scale is large. The built hall has four entrances and there is a square trail of hundreds of meters at the entrance. It is worth a visit. The parking lot is huge.

It was originally a farmhouse and has become a four-star hotel. In recent years, it has gradually developed into a leisure area integrating catering, conferences, accommodation and leisure, and is applying for a characteristic town. The latest addition, the Rice Grain Garden, features chrysanthemums in autumn, forming a sea of flowers, which is worth a visit.

Bengbu|See the city's iconic buildings in Zhanggongshan Park|||✨When you come to Bengbu for tourism, it is worth a visit to Zhanggongshan Park, which is a must-visit. Here you can not only see the landmark buildings of Bengbu City, the Wanghuai Tower and the Pearl Jade Girl Sculpture, but also stroll in the garden, visit the zoo or rent a boat to cruise the lake, which are all very relaxing leisure modes. · ⛰️Zhanggong Mountain is a part of the Tushan Mountain Range in Bengbu and has a long history. The mountain is not high, and there is a Wanghuai Tower at the commanding height of the mountain. As the name suggests, you can see the beautiful scenery of the cities on both sides of the Yangtze River and the Huai River by climbing to the top of the tower. Please note that there is a time limit for climbing the tower, and the tower will be closed after five o'clock. · 🏖️There is a lake on the right side of the park called Zhanggong Lake, and there is an island on the lake called Zhanggong Island, and an arch bridge connects the island. There is an old corridor along the lake near the cruise ship terminal. It is very suitable to come here to enjoy the wind and watch the sunset (although the sun will be blocked by Zhanggong Mountain behind, the atmosphere is very good. If you want to watch the sunset, it is recommended to go to Tushan) · 🗿The Pearl Jade Girl sculpture mentioned above is located at the south gate of the park. The sculpture is made of white marble, 5.8 meters high and weighs about 32 tons. Behind her is a huge clam shell, and the open clam shell symbolizes the hospitality of the people of Bengbu. It is not too sunny at noon, but once the sun goes down, it is really lively here. · 🌿In spring and autumn, various plants in the park will enter the best viewing period one after another. It is a good place for local residents and foreign tourists to enjoy the garden and feel the changes of nature.

The Huaihe Cultural Square has a very strong cultural atmosphere. Four buildings, including the Convention and Exhibition Center, the Grand Theater, the Library and Science and Technology Museum, and the Leisure Center, are all located here. The most famous is the human head statue on the hill next to the Convention and Exhibition Center, which is an enlarged "ceramic head statue with tattoos".

The scenic area is not far from the center of Bengbu, about half an hour's drive away. There are sightseeing buses at the front of the mountain, and the climb back is not very high. There is a Yuwang Temple on the top of the mountain, and you can overlook the Huaihe River from the mountain, which is quite nice.

In Gaixia, now Haocheng, the world-famous Gaixia ancient battlefield site is left. The "Gaixia site" is a city built according to the terrain, with four arc-shaped corners. Exploration shows that the foundation of the city wall buried underground is relatively intact, the structure is relatively clear, and the direction is clear. Except for some sections of the west wall, the other four walls in the east, west, south and north are relatively straight. The lengths of the four walls in the east, west, south and north are approximately 410, 480, 280 and 340 meters respectively, with a total length of 1,510 meters. The area inside the city (excluding the city wall) is about 150,000 square meters, including the moat, and the area of the city site is nearly 200,000 square meters. Direction 350 degrees. The city is divided into four gates in the east, west, south and north. The original appearance of the four gates has not been preserved. The outline of the city wall is clearly visible from the outside, and it looks like a pot bottom from the inside. The highest point of the city wall has a drop of more than 3 meters from the farmland outside the city. The remains of the moat outside the city can be found. Although part of it has been leveled into farmland, most of it still exists.
