Marshal Zhang's Mansion Museum
Marshal Zhang's Mansion Museum was built in 1914 and covers an area of 53,000 square meters. It includes several groups of cultural relics buildings such as Sanjin Siheyuan, Daqinglou, Xiaoqinglou, Guandi Temple, Red Houses, Zhao Yidi's former residence, the former site of Bianye Bank and the former office site. Finally checked out Harbin Ice and Snow World! It's absolutely stunning, a true ice and snow fairytale kingdom! ✨ The ice sculptures are crystal clear, and the super ice slide is thrilling and exhilarating. Although it was very cold, the beautiful scenery and fun were totally worth it. Highly recommended, definitely a worthwhile trip!

It's definitely worth a visit. The outdoor building, a large green building, is a distinctive and solemn structure combining Baroque and traditional Chinese brick architecture. Inside, it's an exhibition hall showcasing furniture from the Republican era.

It's amazing to be able to see so close the animals but still be in their environment. Make sure you bring cash also if you want to feed them after the tour is finished. You can give them food while you are in the car and pay online, and is also an option after where is required cash. We recommend this place if you are in Harbin🙂

The Shenyang Imperial Palace is also very large; by the end, I was completely exhausted. Inside the scenic area, there's Zhang Xueliang's former residence, and a financial museum was included as a bonus. All of these were quite interesting and worth seeing.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

It's a bit far from downtown Changchun, about an hour's drive away. The automatic parking system at the entrance was a first for me, and it was free! There were even volunteers to show you how to use it – so thoughtful! The place is incredibly large; walking is impossible. A bus ride around it takes over 40 minutes. The most beautiful area is near the dam, not far from the entrance!

After visiting the Tiger Park, we took a taxi to Sun Island and then prepared to take the cable car back to our hotel across the river. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many tourists, and we got on without queuing. When the cable car reached its highest point, the panoramic view of Sun Island, the Songhua River, and the city was breathtaking. We even saw a flock of seagulls! A trip to Harbin definitely includes taking the cross-river cable car at least once.
