Fuxian Lake Tourist Resort, also known as Fuxian Lake Scenic Area, is located in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, and belongs to Chengjiang City, spanning Chengjiang City, Jiangchuan District, and Huaning County. It is an excellent summer resort!

During the National Day holiday, we arrived early at the Mingxing Fish Cave Scenic Area of ​​Fuxian Lake. The weather was overcast today, lacking bright sunshine, so the overall scenery was slightly less impressive than on a sunny day. However, this didn't dampen our spirits at all; instead, it added a gentle and tranquil atmosphere. What surprised me most was the unique interplay of light and shadow on the lake: the nearby waters were shrouded in a hazy, serene atmosphere, while in the distance, the lake shone brightly with the light of a clear day. The dappled sunlight gently sprinkled across the surface, creating a play of light and shadow, layer upon layer of brilliance, and the water shimmered with a delicate luster—it was exceptionally beautiful and soothing. The scenic area isn't very large, and there aren't many crowded attractions, making the overall atmosphere very relaxing and pleasant. The ground is covered with fine artificial sand, perfect for children to play in. It's especially suitable for family trips; just bring sand toys, and your kids can play freely on the sand, letting loose and enjoying a relaxing time. The highlight of the scenic area is the several popular lakeside cafes, especially the second-floor window seats, which offer fantastic views. Sitting quietly by the window, you can look up and gaze at the entire Fuxian Lake. The water is clear and gentle, and a soft lake breeze blows, making it perfect for daydreaming, relaxing, and slowly enjoying the lakeside lifestyle. However, during holidays, it gets very crowded, so if you want a good spot and good photos, you'll need to queue early. Also, taking photos within the scenic area requires payment, which is a small detail to keep in mind. Besides coffee and leisurely sightseeing, the scenic area also offers sailing water sports. However, apart from that, the overall activities are relatively limited and not particularly diverse. If you're looking for a high-intensity experience with a variety of entertainment options, this place might feel rather ordinary. But if you're looking for peace and relaxation, spending a few hours here quietly, watching the lake, feeling the breeze, and enjoying the slow pace of life will be very comfortable. Here are some practical tips: The restrooms are located outside the ticket gates. If you need to go to the restroom, be sure to scan the QR code and register your face beforehand to avoid having to buy a second ticket – very convenient and hassle-free. Overall, Mingxing Fish Cave is not a noisy and bustling amusement park, but rather a tranquil lakeside retreat perfect for relaxation, family fun, taking photos, and simply daydreaming. Moon Bay at Fuxian Lake, known as the "Little Sanya of Yunnan," is essentially the hotel's backyard. It's quiet and peaceful, with few people, so you don't have to rush. You can quietly watch the lake, feel the breeze, and while away the time – just the right amount of comfort! [winking emoji]

The first stop in southeastern Yunnan was to visit the Fuxian Lake Luchong Scenic Area. We left in such a hurry that we only visited Luchong in Fuxian Lake. The mountain is not too high and is suitable for the elderly and children. The scenery is beautiful on a sunny day!

Fuxian Lake is very large, with a circumference of more than 70 kilometers. It is recommended to go to the Red Beach to see seagulls. The water quality of Luchong Scenic Area is crystal clear, and there are several good places to take pictures. Moon Bay is too small and the scenery is average.

This is a scenic spot in the northwest corner of Fuxian Lake, and also one of the must-visit spots for taking photos. The shore is covered with red sand, which I heard was transported there. There are many seagulls, making it not only a great place for taking pictures but also a good place to bring children to play. When the weather is bad, the scenery is not particularly special, and in winter, it can be very windy, so be sure to dress warmly.

Location: Haigeng Park/No. 16 Hubin Road ↔ Xishan Longmen (West Mountain Dragon Gate), not near the old street, you have to go to the Dianchi Lake area. Experience: Crossing the lake + climbing the mountain, about 20 minutes one way, views of Dianchi Lake, Sleeping Beauty Mountain, and city scenery, great for taking photos. Ticket Price: One way about 59-60 RMB, round trip about 98-100 RMB. Advantages: Easy for lazy people to climb West Mountain, no climbing required, unique views; seagulls in winter. Disadvantages: Stops during strong winds/thunderstorms; long queues during peak season; separate ticket/walking required for Longmen after climbing the mountain; don't confuse with the "Xishan Longmen Cableway". Conclusion: First time in Kunming, taking the Dianchi-Xishan route → worth it; if just exploring the old street → not worth a special trip.

Colorful Yunnan is a very cost-effective amusement park. Families, the elderly and children have a great time. The prices are also very reasonable. Compared to Universal Studios, Happy Valley and Fantawild, it is much more affordable. I will definitely come again!
