Chuxiong Fu Pagoda stands on the top of Lucheng East Mountain in Chuxiong City, the capital of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The Chuxiong Prefecture Political Consultative Conference initiated social donations to rebuild it on the site of the ancient pagoda from the Ming Dynasty. Construction began in March 2002 and was completed in November 2004. The pagoda is an octagonal nine-story pavilion-style building, 59 meters high. It is the first ancient landscape pagoda in China that showcases Chinese Fu culture with painted wood carvings, stone carvings, and bronze castings. Standing on the pagoda, you can overlook the city of Chuxiong, which is a very good attraction.
