Cam Thanh Village is considered the green lung of Hoi An thanks to its large collection of coconut trees. The charming location is often compared to the famous Mekong Delta, but here you'll ride adorable basket boats instead of the usual three-plank wooden vessels. One basket boat can fit two adults and one child, making it a family bonding activity! After rowing through small channels and appreciating the verdant coconut trees, you'll also watch a one-of-a-kind boat show care of the locals residing in the area! Go home with a memento of your visit when you join a souvenir-making workshop using coconut leaves.Da Nang · 26.2 km from downtown

The ancient city of Hoi An is a well-preserved traditional trading port in Southeast Asia. There are complete streets inhabited by Chinese in the ancient city. The Fujian Guild Hall, Guangzhao Guild Hall, Chaozhou Guild Hall, Qiongfu Guild Hall and Chinese Guild Hall have also been built. The ancestral hall, Guandi Temple, etc. The ancient city of Hoi An is full of Chinese and Japanese buildings, such as Japanese covered bridges, which are well preserved to this day. The well-preserved ancient buildings and ancient streets reflect the organic combination of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cultures and architectural styles. The layout of the street and the style of the buildings not only show the simplicity and elegance of Chinese architecture, but also integrate the natural aesthetics and life taste of the local people. Tourists can not only appreciate the ancient cultural traditions, but also feel the strong regional flavor. The ancient city of Hoi An during the day is also very lively during the day. There are always many tourists in the various small shops along the street. Most of these shops operate coffee tea rooms and sell souvenirs. If you have time, sit down and drink a cup of drip coffee. Walking is also good. Walking slowly in the ancient city, you will find that the locals like to plant some tropical plants and flowers at the entrance, which adds a touch of ancient flavor to the ancient city. The ancient city of Hoi An at night is very beautiful at night. It turns into a world of lanterns. Lanterns of various colors and shapes are hung high, illuminating the whole street. It is very beautiful; some small vendors will also come out at night to sell With local specialties and knickknacks, it is worth visiting.Da Nang · 22.9 km from downtown

My Khe Beach stretches along the coastal Vo Nguyen Giap Road and can be reached in just over ten minutes by car from the city center, making it a representative urban beach in Da Nang. Its fine, white sand, gentle slope, and clear water are what have drawn tourists here for years. Unlike many beaches far from the city, one side here is lined with resort hotels, cafes, and seafood stalls, while the other side offers expansive views of the sea and sky, with only a road separating the city from the ocean. In the early morning, the sun slowly rises from the horizon, painting the sea gold. In addition to strolling on the beach and taking in the ocean views, you can also rent a lounge chair to sunbathe. There are also water activities here such as jet skiing, banana boating, and parasailing.Da Nang · 3.6 km from downtown

The My Son site is located more than 40 kilometers west of Hoi An. It is the largest religious site in the ancient Champa kingdom in Vietnam, and is known as "Vietnam's Angkor Wat". The Cham people built Hindu temples here as early as the fourth century. In the centuries that followed, the Cham people continued to expand, making it the religious land of the Cham kingdom. It is one of the oldest ruins in Southeast Asia. It was not destroyed by the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam until the end of the seventeenth century with the decline of the Champa Kingdom, so it was gradually abandoned. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Western archaeologists came to study the history of the Cham ethnic group, so it was protected and included in the World Heritage List. The site is built in a lush valley surrounded by mountains. About 70 Hindu temples have been built in the whole valley. The Champa's pagoda is built with red bricks. Although it is not tall, it is complex in style, reflecting the Hindu style. It is also because compared with the giant city built with boulders - Angkor Temple in Cambodia, it can't stand the test of wind and rain. It is more corroded and damaged, and some places are overgrown with weeds; Also the more, some of the carvings are better preserved.Da Nang · 33.1 km from downtown

• With a length of nearly 150m, it rises up among the mountains at an altitude of more than 1,000 meters, as if two giant Buddha hands are holding the bridge up to ride across and above the mountain peaks. • Connecting the summit cable car station with the breathtaking Paradise Garden, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the East Sea and the Annam Mountains as you cross. • The hands symbolize the divine spirit, allowing visitors to walk on the bridge as if they were walking through the hands of heaven. △ Take a cable car ride up Mt. Ba Na and see the Buddha's Hand Bridge. △ Walking on the bridge, you can see the beautiful scenery of the countryside.Da Nang · 24.2 km from downtown

Hacoconut Coconut Basket Boat

Hacoconut Coconut Basket Boat is a unique water experience in the suburbs of Hoi An. Instead of hand-rowed wooden boats, visitors ride the basket boats unique to central Vietnam—round, bamboo-woven boats that were originally tools for fishermen to catch fish and transport supplies, but have now become a fun way to navigate the coconut grove waterways. Each boat holds only two or three visitors and is steered by a local fisherman. The boat ride lasts about one hour. Put on the conical hat provided by the boatman and travel along narrow waterways deep into the coconut groves, where the nipa palms on both banks are almost within reach. Along the way, there are activities like fishing net demonstrations, crab fishing by the river, and boatmen singing folk songs, creating a lively atmosphere. Many boatmen will also weave small items from coconut leaves on the spot, which make perfect unique travel souvenirs to take home.Da Nang · 25.8 km from downtown

It was one of the best places I’ve been in Danang. One thing that I made mistakes with was i didn’t bring my coat with me, so make sure you guys are wearing thick jackets or a coat, it’s quite cold up there. Apart from that everything was brilliant! Had so much fun :)

Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, is a remarkably preserved 15th-19th century trading port. Located along the Thu Bon River, it is famous for its yellow-walled timber-frame buildings, lantern-lit streets, and a mix of Japanese, Chinese, and European architecture.

Hoi An Memories Land is much more than a place to watch the famous evening show. The park recreates the charm of ancient Hoi An with traditional architecture, peaceful canals, cultural performances, craft villages, and colorful lanterns. Walking around feels like stepping back in time. It's a wonderful destination to experience Vietnamese culture, take beautiful photos, and enjoy a magical atmosphere day and night.

The whole beach in Danang is impressive. I’ve never seen such long stretch of beach and see with soft white sands anywhere. It’s not too busy as it’s so big. Go day and night time to experience it. Lots of places to eat and have coffee along the sidewalk. I would highly recommend walking as far as you can. Can get quite windy especially at night.

Visiting VinWonders Nam Hoi An was easily one of the biggest highlights of our trip to Central Vietnam! The destination is massive and offers a well-balanced mix of thrill rides, wildlife encounters, cultural heritage, and water activities that effortlessly fills an entire day.  The River Safari was truly exceptional—cruising along the water while observing animals like giraffes, zebras, and elephants roaming in spacious, semi-wild enclosures felt far more engaging and ethical than a standard zoo setup. Another standout is the Folk Island (Cultural Island), which thoughtfully showcases authentic architecture from various Vietnamese regions, artisan craft workshops, and traditional performances, making it both educational and photogenic. When the afternoon heat kicked in, the Water World section provided the ultimate refresh. The slide options range from gentle family-friendly lazy rivers to massive funnel slides for adrenaline junkies, and the pools were impeccably clean and well-monitored by attentive lifeguards. Across every zone, the walkways were spotless, restrooms were well-maintained, and dining options were plentiful and reasonable.Overall, the park is brilliantly organized and offers incredible value for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Arriving right at opening time is definitely the best way to catch all the shows and make the most out of your visit!

people who are coming here with scooter, you dont have to park and walk 200m, You will be stopped by few people saying free parking, its okay to park, they wont charge you but its easy for you if you drive till the main gate. You will get buggy service for free until main site after you get the ticket, after that i guess you have to walk like 2hours to explore all, so i suggest you to carry enough water, umbrella and other essential stuff you most need. Overall it was good experience but most of sites are under construction, you will get to see the structure during champa kingdom.

Excellent experience, one of the highlights of our trip. I was a bit unsure about how to book from trip.com, but I followed the Hacoconut link, connected by whatsapp and the service was excellent. They were very responsive. We booked the boat and a driver. The driver was very flexible with times as we didn't want to be restricted as we wanted to explore HoiAn old town after. It was very smooth and efficient. If a guy from the coconut boat shows you a QR code he is asking for a review at the end. This was the only confusion which was quickly answered by the WhatsApp contact. I paid the driver for both the coconut boat experience and travel. Very easy. Excellent experience!
